A place further than the universe (drama, adventure)
City the animation (SoL, comedy)
Violet Evergarden (drama, romance (to say the truth, the series of 12 EPs is autoconclusive, but it has some movies to watch after the series anyways))
Anohana (drama, SoL, romance)
Pseudo harem (romance, SoL, NOT harem)
DW, they're all series with only 12 EPs.

Romance?
francino_meow2026-01-05 07:32
Well, love plays a very important role in the story, so I thought I should add it.
Gullible_Bat_54082026-01-05 10:02
Romance is only romantic love which there isn't.
Did you mean platonic love and familial love?
francino_meow2026-01-05 10:06
Wdym? [ANOHANA SPOILERS] >!all the events of anohana started from a crush that Jintan had for Menma, and romantic love between people carried on a good amount of events (the crush Anaru had for Jintan; the feelings Yukiatsu had for Menma etc.). Sure there is platonic love, too, and a lot, but saying that in the series romantic love is not important is a bit much!<

for romance i personally liked:
the angel next door spoils me rotten
the fragrant flowers blooms with dignity
more than a married couple but not lovers

- Angel Beats
- Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
- Mobile Suit Gundam MS Team - while it takes place in the main Gundam universe this is a short, complete, 12 episode story, that does feature an enemies to lover plotline, with a final conclusion. You don't need to have really seen anything else.
- Baccano! - I highly recommend the dub as a mainly sub watcher
