Help me with a good Anime

Hey I was looking for a anime for me and my dad to watch together. He's 35, likes cars and old funny movies and maby some dark shows too. I only got him to watch one anime recently and it was death note. We watched it all and he liked it but I dont know what else to watch with him now any ideas? I was just about to suggest attack on titan

If he liked death note, try monster (slow,dark,very mature ) or psycho-pass. , If he's intro cars, Intial D is a fun pick , and yeah Attack on titan is actually a solid suggestion too

Jesus, i feel old as fuck now, son.

My much older father with fairly similar interests *really* liked Vinland Saga and Frieren, and that was about it, he didn't start liking anime, just those shows 😂

He loved that Vikings show from the History Channel and told me that Vinland Saga was way better, that's was a big surprise.

Might be worth a try.

I saw bits of frieren but I didn't think my dad would like it but could you please tell me about it so I may know more. I dont wanna skip on something that could be really cool

Very introspective fantasy story from the perspective of a long lived elf *very slowly* realizing how important the relatively short time she spent with her short lived human companions/friends was to her.

I think Frieren hits a bit different for us "older" fellas.

There's cool fights and shit as well 🤷

If he liked Death Note I’d say try Cowboy Bebop older vibe, cool cars/spaceships, and some dark stuff but also funny in spots.
