What is the best romance anime

I watched horimiya,more than a maried couple but not lovers,alya sometimes hides her feeling in russian and the angel next door spoils me rotten.Im planning to watch the fragrance flower one.Is there any other you recommend?

My personal favourite that I think everybody should watch or read is rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai and the pet girl of sakurasou . Trust me these ones are some hidden gems that had there time where there really popular but they faded a bit with all these new romance anime’s so give them a try.

I'm kinda older so the biggest most impactful romance anime for me was stuff like:

ToraDora
Lovely Complex
Clannad and Clannad After Story
Chuunibyou and older delusions
Tonari no Kaibutsu Kun
Ore Gairu

The most recent one that is a MUST WATCH in my opinion is Kaguya sama. Out of alot of these anime Kaguya sama is probably the only romcom that is actually funny.

I’ve grown to prefer romances where both are not too sure of themselves or show some insecurity or uncertainty but learn to work through it rather than having one or both of them be like this perfect partner or just have this imbalanced experienced-inexperienced dynamic.
