black and white is also good tbh. But TYBW anime imo is just better then the manga, its production values are insane and adds a lot more to the story that the manga was just missing. So bleach up to 479, then TYBW anime

I read it and was fine, man. Like, the art is still great, it's closer to what Kubo was originally drawing, and it still hits. Some people are fine or prefer manga black and white, its all a perference thing

You don't have to be such an elitist about this Its legit, art. It's subjective; coloured manga is not automatically better then black and white. I've seen coloured one piece, i perfer black and white.

Depends on what you like. Both of them take a while to get good, but personally I prefer Bleach a little bit.
Also, the final season of Bleach is coming out early this year, and it will take you a long time to get to that point in the anime so it will probably be finished by then.
Jojo is kind of over, in that the original continuity is completed and the upcoming anime is a different thing. So you could argue that it’s more or less finished, but it’s subjective.
In either case, I highly recommend sticking through with both series, as they’re great!

In general yeah. Jojo just has much better storytelling. Not much in Bleach is a complete asspull, but its more "Haha, i had THIS the whole time" for so many fights with not much build-up or foreshadowing beforehand to feel satisfying and way less downtime in general. Which is my biggest source of frustration with Bleach since Kubo is a fantastic comedy writer; he should have done it more. Bleach can be cooler at least
Jojo can have pretty uneven pacing but it has way better storytelling, more variety in its fights, and more downtime in general so nothing feels overbearing, and the creativity is over the roof.

Jojo is better, had way more variety and has just a better adaptation, and in general hits higher peaks in quality way more often, and I would say Bleach has way too many points that drag. I say watch jojo, read the bleach manga to 479, then you can watch TYBW.

It's also still way shorter and less of a slog because the format splits it into multiple different parts/stories.
Willing to bet the new season of JoJo will have more real time hype and be more fun to follow live as well.

Also it depends how much you love fighting. If you can watch characters that you don't know much about on either side, but its enough to see there powers because powers are generally pretty cool, and do that for long stretches, you will love bleach.
