Ill add a +1 for erased (not mecha anime) and one of the best (imo) psychological thriller, with its short 12 episodes(start to finish) story that keep me on the edge of my seat \^\^

I think you will enjoy watching Parasyte. (at least it fit my prefered feature)

\-24 episodes (short/finish/complete)

\-Not too old(2014) with great visual

\-Interesting start to finish without filler
