Dark/Intense anime to watch?
looking for something to watch thats a bit moody if you know what I mean.
I enjoyed monster, steins gate, psycho pass, serial experiments lain, death parade etc.

\*Slay the Princess\* is kinda a hard one. It's labelled psychological horror, but because it's such a choice-based game, some routes are much darker/moodier than others. Like my first playthrough, it was definitely horror but it wasn't quite as dark as my second playthrough. Still, it's the game that my PFP came from, and it is really, really good. It's also a Visual Novel, but much, much bigger than \*Doki Doki Literature Club\*.
\*Corpse Party\*'s one I very recently finished. It's probably the most classic kind of horror, and is probably darkest in the most obvious way, but it is definitely "intense" as you put it, and horrifying. It's a top-down RPG, retro-ish game with a killer soundtrack.
MiSide's my last recommendation right now, until I play some more horror games. It's definitely the tamest of these, but it does a really good job of "blending" a bunch of different types of horror together, into one, solid game, that is still very consistent. It's faster-paced, and causes a lot of anxiety while playing. It does use a couple cheap jump scares, but only once or twice. Really it more-so relies on buildup. Unlike other games though, the buildup actually leads somewhere, it isn't just useless anticipation. Also has great worldbuilding. It's a first-person game also, so it's really immersive.
