There was a reliable leak for a second cour (or season, however they decide to classify it), and it's almost impossible an 8-volume complete manga wouldn't be fully adapted in 24 episodes.

Tani is not exactly what you’re assuming he is. The character that IS that is Taira. Tani is a man of relatively few words but he’s also a straight-shooter no-bullshit type who doesn’t mind being pulled into socializing, it’s just not something he would have done on his own. Kind of an introvert able to hang with and appreciate the energy of extroverts.

Caught the first episode during the Crunchyroll preview night and didn't have any expectations at the start but the first episode was great and I can tell it'll be the kind of romcom I enjoy.

I want one with the tropes inverted: an introverted girl paired with a social butterfly. I’ve lived the anime trope my whole life (I was the one getting adopted by extroverts). Seeing it flipped would make me kick my heels and giggle.
