What anime have the most absurd relationship charts [while also being toxic]
I cannot get enough of trashy relationship drama. I also can't get enough of wholesome relationships but thats besides the point - I just finished binging most of Oresuki, which starts as a toxic, hilarious, love polygon with assholes \[that did grow and learn\] who were proactive. But it ended up turning into typical harem stuff by the end, so I dropped it around episode 9. Meaning I am still really itching for more stuff like it.
When I look up complicated relationship chart anime, lots of them seem downright wholesome and sweet, or based on misunderstandings - like Gamers - and I am not here for that. I need more recommendations for toxic, awful, complicated, diagram-able, romance. Ideally, every character should be at least a bit shitty.
Any recommendations?

7-8 unrequited love.
I dropped it half way through, the charackters were just unbearable...

It's not apparent at first, but multiple characters appear multiple times in different places because there's so much polygamy, cheating, and incest happening. [Like this part.](https://i.imgur.com/ZFBcq6X.jpeg)
and that just one pair, without mentioning the rest of the cast, all of them is just one wrong interaction away from putting a bullet into each other or worse.
To be fair, that show has the greatest relationship chart ever in the form of Gamers hexagon of doom.
also obligatory domestic girlfriend
I guess Fruits Basket isn't that toxic either, but there's certainly a lot of drama.
I guess Your Lie in April would also fit into the category of not too toxic but drama.
Haven't watched it yet, but from what I have heard, Nana might be very close to what you are looking for.
And someone already suggested School Days, but that's clearly a harem, not sure if you are interested in that.
Fushigi Yuugi is a reverse harem, but there's SO MUCH teenage romance drama BS and a certain amount of toxicity too.
Also, if you don't mind going beyond the boundaries of taboo (straight up incest) and don't mind very heavy ecchi, you can get a harem like Yosuga no Sora, there are some pretty wholesome, but also pretty toxic relationships there.
Not *all* of it
I guess Sonomi's way of handling her feelings for Nadeshiko is quite toxic. And maybe Meilin's clinginess could be considered slightly toxic. Other than that,if we are talking about toxic, I don't think any other examples qualify (at least not in the anime).
Let's not forget though, that the anime timeline is separate, and in the anime I don't see the problem. Sure, there are very small hints that the teacher feels something, but as long as he doesn't act on those feelings, I don't think it's that bad.
The best possible word I can use to describe it is messy. But it's also super interesting.
Be aware of LGBT+ themes, the MC is [spoiler, but you are made aware of this pretty early on so it won't ruin much] >!intersex!< and this is a core theme behind his trauma and a lot of the drama.
It feel like it pretty toxic, but I liked it anyway.
