I need anime recommendations

I’m currently in a slump of anime I want to watch. My current mood at the moment is to watch either an isekai (where the mc isn’t overpowered) or a romance anime (preferably not in high school) but I am open to any genre of recommendation. So you want an Isekai where mc isn't overpowered OR a romance that's not in high school. Then I'll mix both of these and Recommendation you Zenshu. A short 12 episodes anime original show. The animation is amazing.

Also The Apothecary Diaries has good romance as a subplot. But it isn't an Isekai. It's set in historical China. It's really good.

Another one is Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady With The Lamp. This one has better story than Zenshu. It's an Isekai with romance as a subplot.

The isekai before isekais became such a fad - El Hazard. It's been a long minute since I watched it - it's composed of 3 OVAs. And then there's a reboot TV series which isn't connected to the OVAs and sorta tells or retells the story. The 90s were a wacky time where this kinda happened a lot.

Basically the way it goes is Magnificent World => Magnificent World 2 => Alternative World. Then there's The Wanderers which did its own thing.

I never watched Wanderers, but I remember the MC in Magnificent World being fairly underpowered. His 'power' was to interface with ancient technology in the world rather than superpowers.

There is romance, but sadly the MC is high school aged.

.hack/Sign if you can bear old style animation (2002) - trapped in game style anime

Youjo Senki - but I am not sure if it counts as "not overpowered", there is god messing up thing etc

Gate - modern Japan was invaded by some fantasy world, they got few tanks and bombs into their mouth and now it is JSDF on their side with jets, tanks etc. MC is normal solider, it is pretty funny to watch, kinda realistic "what would happen if medieval society invaded modern world".

Vision of Escaflown - normal high school girl in fantasy world with mechas

My senpai is annoying, Servant x service - slow office romances

Science Fell in Love - it is romance with adults
