Synopsis:

I'm not so sure. It's a modern retelling of the story yeah, but that doesn't mean it'll necessarily end the same. I'm reminded of how both Tonikawa Over the Moon for you and Kaguya-sama Love is War touch upon how you could have stopped or circumvented the original sad ending of the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, especially in a modern world that has access to space flight. So we'll just have to wait and see
