JoJo is fun in a nonsense kind of way, like the writers just throw darts at a wall to decide what their next plot is gonna be about.
Spider, meanwhile, has an interesting plot, even if the anime completely fucked it up.

I'm a spider so what is not a particularly good or notable series. The spider part of the series is genuinely funny, but it's weighed down by generic, boring, cookie-cutter fantasy worldbuilding. It's kind of bad when the spider isn't the center of any given scene. I could not have cared less about the spider's uh classmates.
JoJo, on the other hand... well, the first leg of the story is kind of a parody of an origin story. It doesn't land with everyone. Otherwise, critically JoJo is widely regarded as simply a better written, more established series than spider. Spider is cancelled, on that note. Not that these two are ever compared, just saying if you were to compare their reception to one another, that would be the comp.

Both have their strengths, but I do appreciate some feisty banter.
I personally prefer JoJo, but I really like both anime.
The spider anime has great VA by the protagonist, and the light hearted spider being a menacing monster in reality is a funny reveal.
