Hi Pizzasalad15, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You might also find our [Recommendation Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/recommendations) or [daily thread](/r/anime/search?q=flair%3Adaily&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=week) helpful.

Hit a slump? looks like you just started watching anime, maybe get away from shonen for a few months lol

Pizzasalad152026-01-07 05:51

Nobody who “just started” could be caught up with one piece

Mysterious-Roll-33262026-01-07 06:01

The anime you listed is what many would recommend to a newcomer into anime so you haven't looked outside of the action genre besides death note, an analogy is like you have only exposed yourself to pepperoni and cheese pizza when there is subjectively better pizza out there to consume

Pizzasalad152026-01-07 06:05

I really only like action

WarD_ddy_082026-01-07 05:46

Watch Sakamoto days bro, this anime is good.

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-07 05:46

Yu Yu Hakusho (dub)

Hunter x Hunter 2011

Magi

Rurouni Kenshin 1996

Undead Unluck

Hajime no Ippo

Kingdom (S1 is very ugly, but the series gets better and better until it's something special)

Bakuman

Mob Psycho 100

Ushio to Tora

Just explore genres other than just shonen. I have a bunch of other genre anime if you want that.

Pizzasalad152026-01-07 05:52

Shonen is what I really like though, I like some isekail but it’s very specific

gud_fellow2026-01-07 05:59

You should give a chance to other genres. You'll get bored of shonen eventually. If you can catch up to one piece. You can also give a 12 episode anime of other genre a try to see if you like it or not.

And how specific Isekai?

And if you still want a shonen then I'll recommend you Chainsaw Man. It has a season and a PEAK movie.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Cokeladd2026-01-07 06:31

Hunter X Hunter

PoetHumble59032026-01-07 06:49

A popular one that is really good is fullmetal alchemist brotherhood which has a story on par with aot. Another one thats decent to catch up could be hells paradise with the new season coming soon. And code geass is another one with really good plot.
