I need good recommendations

A few anime’s I’ve been really enjoying recently are: **The Apothecary Diaries**, **Secrets of the Silent** **Witch**, Kimi Ni todoke (From Me To You), Fruits Basket, Mob Psycho 100, Sk8, Ouran Highschool Host Club, The Disasters Life of Saiki K, and **Dan Da Dan.**

If anyone has any suggestions similar or even any that just have the same vibe as any of these, your recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi User_Is_Pluto_, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

I mean, I am gonna go with the basics here (that are not 500+ episodes long), that I have personally seen and enjoyed:

* Jujutsu Kaisen
* Dragon Ball
* Naruto
* Made in Abyss
* Black Clover
* Fairy Tale
* Bleach
* Hunter × Hunter (still waiting for new season, hopefully before I die)
* Demon Slayer (Watch this!!)

I have watched way more than this, but these are pretty damn good, some longer than others, should keep you occupied for a while

**One Piece (fav anime although quite slow, maybe One Pace for most people starting fresh)**

Jujutsu Kaisen is getting a new season released soon as well! First two episodes drop 1/9

Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady With The Lamp. It's similar to The Apothecary Diaries but it's an Isekai.

Saiunkoku Monogatari (The Story of Saiunkoku). It’s a palace drama much like apothecary diaries and is kind of the animated OG for palace dramas. A young woman from an impoverished noble family who works as a school teacher and musician is hired to be the young and reluctant Emperor’s courtesan and teacher. It ran for 2 seasons in 2006-2008. It’s an older style and dialogue heavy but IMO it stands up.

It’s not part of the Monogatari series that began in 2009 with Bakemonogatari. The word monogatari just means tale or story. It’s confusing to recommend it because of the similarity in name to the other series. Anime names can be weird like that, kind of like Saekano and Seikano, very different shows.

You may also enjoy Yona of the Dawn.

I second Yona of the Dawn! I finished this anime last week and just invested in the next 10 volumes following the end of the anime 😅

Since you seem to enjoy shoujo:

-Yona of the Dawn

-Kamisama Kiss

-Tamon's B-side

-Snow White With the Red Hair

Outside of shoujo, I think Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun might be something you'd enjoy.

**Ascendance of a Bookworm**: Strong female lead in fantasy setting that focuses on specific topic with great world building. -> mostly similar to The Apothecary Diaries and Secrets of the Silent Witch

**Kill la Kill**: absurd/wacky comedic moments with high school setting and fights -> most similar in your list would be Mob Psycho 100, Dan Da Dan and maybe The Disasters Life of Saiki K (for comedy)

**Kakushigoto**: slice of life comedy, very episodic with a minor overarching story -> mostly similar to Disasters Life of Saiki K

**Toaru Kagaku no Railgun**: Strong female lead in scifi-ish high school setting and fights -> starts maybe a bit too slow but everything builds up to satisfying arcs
