watched these and probably more i didn't include:

1. re zero
2. no game no life
3. kono subarashi-----but stopped around season 2
4. overlord
5. Shield hero----but stopped after season 1
6. mushoko tensei
7. tensei shitara Slime - Rimuru anime
8. youjo senki
9. **The Eminence in Shadow**
10. **hai to grimar**
11. **Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-**

JustOrdinaryUncle2026-01-07 12:33

JustOrdinaryUncle2026-01-07 13:54

- Summoned to another world for a second time

_maniac692026-01-07 13:09

* my status as an assasin obviously exceeds the hero's - didn't enjoy it, i have 3 episodes to finish it and i don't feel connected to the story at all
* The dark history of the reincarnated villaines - didn't watch it at all
* Sword art online - enjoyed it but didn't watch latest season
* The water magician - was a fun anime nothing special but i enjoyed it
* Bogus skill Fruitmaster - I didn't watch or know about it
* Summoned to another world for a second time - I didn't watch or know about it

NoNewt85592026-01-07 14:05

Most of the anime I sent that you haven't watched are not masterpieces, but they're great fun to watch
If you plan to watch them, I hope you enjoy them and have a good time

Sentinel_25392026-01-07 13:26

My Status As An Assassin Obviously Exceeds The Hero's is a pretty damn good isekai. It has a really pretty 90s animation style which I love and the protagonist isn't your typical "oh boy magical powers!" guy either, quite the opposite, in fact.

SouekiSennoSTM2026-01-07 13:29

- Urasekai Picnic
- Sonny Boy
- Haibane Renmei
- Digimon Tamers
- Cop Craft (reverse isekai)
- Sasaki to Pii-chan

Mitsuyan_2026-01-07 13:50

No Longer Allowed in Another World

Saving 80k Gold + Didn't I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life?

Reborn as a Vending Machine

The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World

KonoSuba season 3 is a step up on the first two seasons IMO if you want to carry on

MyCyberTech2026-01-07 15:25

Give ***"I was reincarnated as a slime"*** or ***"Campfire cooking in another world***" a try... I know they sound wierd (I didnt even want to give them a try) but they are AMAZING isekai!

10/10 reccomend

abandoned_idol2026-01-07 16:35

Dang, be didn't watch Ascendance of a Bookworm.

Isekai fans have to watch that one. It's the well written one.

_maniac692026-01-08 11:42

more than one person mentioned it, guess i'll give it a go tonight

abandoned_idol2026-01-08 16:34

The start is rough and comes off as generic.

Give it time.

_maniac692026-01-10 09:21

so far i'm in episode 4, i'm getting into the mood of the story, i don't hate it at all hope i enjoy it more the more i watch

abandoned_idol2026-01-10 20:12

You're safe now.

The writing only becomes more engrossing the further you go into the story.

The upcoming 4th season will be a huge jump on production values.

Quiddity1312026-01-07 18:29

Escaflowne. From an age where isekai was not a derogatory term...

AntbruhA2026-01-07 20:01

Ascendance of a Bookworm is the best Isekai I've read.

brannigansl4w2026-01-08 19:07

Log Horizon is a blast

Also Danmachi isn't an isekai, but outside of the MC not being "transported" it follows basically every other isekai trope

Edit:Bofuri also is a blast but like Shangri La Frontier, it just takes place mostly in a game, no actual transportation going on.

[Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu](https://myanimelist.net/anime/50461/Otome_Game_Sekai_wa_Mob_ni_Kibishii_Sekai_desu)
*Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs*

Title explains it. He's in an otome game he played, but not as the MC.

[Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to](https://myanimelist.net/anime/48997/Fantasy%5C_Bishoujo%5C_Juniku%5C_Ojisan%5C_to)

*Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout*

A comedy. Two guys transported to another world. One is now a girl who has the power to attract men just by existing.

[Tensei shitara Ken deshita](https://myanimelist.net/anime/49891/Tensei_shitara_Ken_deshita)

*Reincarnated as a Sword*

Basic isekai. He's reincarnated as a sword...helps a cat girl out. That's about it.

[Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu
](https://myanimelist.net/anime/48760/Gaikotsu_Kishi-sama_Tadaima_Isekai_e_Odekakechuu)

*Skeleton Knight in Another World*

Overpowered Skeleton character from an MMO is isekai'd. Getting a 2nd season soon a I believe.

Nothing standoutish, simple stupid fun.

[Sokushi Cheat ga Saikyou sugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga Marude Aite ni Naranai n desu ga.

*My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!*

Isekai overpowered character, obviously from title. That's the anime. It's just that.

As for others. Restaurant to another world. Escaflowne. Log Horizon. Isekai Quartet.

Maybe Knights and Magic? As it actually has the MC use other world knowledge.

Not calling these super epic awesomesauce isekai. Just at the very least they were at minimum entertaining.

chowderbomb332026-01-10 13:57

Not a true isekai but rather a temporal isekai - **Dr. Stone** (as the characters are turned to stone and rewake several millenia trying to rebuild civilisation from a primitive world).
