Should i watch or read bleach

İ have the manga of bleach 0-12 and planning on buying more.im on the third manga right now and i dont know if i should read or watch it since the animes sound tracks are good and the manga doesnt have any filler.what should i do?

Watch an episode and read the chapter of the manga they adapted to episode
Do it from start
i'm in 22 ish eps and im reading the manga side by side and yeah anime is shit so far and you will know why im saying this
Hope soul society and later arcs adaptation will be better

First 20 episodes were mid in the anime, but when the same arcs in the manga, they were pretty good compared to anime but im on 22 eps and they are skipping alot important points

I heard later it will be better
Well ofc i enjoyed first 3 episodes in the anime but Orihime's character was still better in the manga

That's why Read and watch side by side....Like you, im new too to this anime

And these things that im telling are the things no one will tell u besides the "Orihime's character is buthered in anime besides that anime is good" thing ..Well its not

And like u, i was asking questions to fandom whether the adaptation is 1:1 or not or did they skip some parts from the manga or not... They said the same answer like i mentioned u before

I read the manga until the end of the original anime, then immediately watched all of the original anime skipping all filler.

TBH you could go either way, do what you prefer, I don’t think either are that much above the other in quality personally speaking. I can’t speak for the new anime seasons and manga parts though.

Stick to reading the manga first, then just watch the best iconic scenes from the anime.

Watch/Read Bleach doesn't really matter
But WATCH Thousand Year Blood War Arc, as the anime version is more canon than the manga.

Personally i would suggest read the beginning few chapters , like till volume 7(Chapter 61), and after that switching to anime cuz the voice acting, OSTs(Some of the best in anime), action are pretty good. Beware that there are 2 arcs where the pacing is pretty bad in both anime and manga.But whatever u do WATCH TYBW arc.

Honestly, the first and last season of regular Bleach are good. For the rest, you’d be better off reading the manga because the pacing and fillers are ridiculous. TYBW should be read and watched imo, cause there are some manga panels that go insanely hard!

If you want to keep your sanity, I’d highly recommend not watching the Arrancar arc and reading it instead (except the Ulquiorra vs Ichigo fight cause that’s pretty dope)
