Looking for stuff similar to gachiakuta!

I really enjoyed gachiakuta, the whole world was so fascinating and I've never enjoyed an anime so much! I'd be very grateful if anyone could recommend me something similar, would be best if it's on Crunchyroll!!

Hi PassionSafe9059, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Soul Eater

As a big fan of both Fire Force and Gachiakuta, I absolutely could not get into Soul Eater. I gave up ~3 episodes in, hated the animation and characters. I heard rumors of a remake, though, which I might give a second chance.

Until it went into original ending territory there wasn't much wrong with the adaptation that a remake would fix.

I think all three are fairly flawed. Soul Eater is a bit more consistent while EnS has higher highs and lower lows and Gachikata struggled all season long and managed maybe three or so good episodes.

Speaking from my own tastes I'd recommend other series above them, but I thought Soul Easter would fit here.

I think the main reason to recommend them is due to same studio/staff on a lot of it. I guess you could throw Undead Unluck in there but only for the studio.

I hard disagree on Gachiakuta, I loved the whole season even during downtime.

The production was fine. It was the series itself that floundered.

Let me know too!

Fire Force, Soul Eater, Dorohedoro. Crunchyroll staples with gritty dystopias, trashy wastelands, stylish weapon fights, and revenge-fueled underdogs mirroring Gachiakuta's Pit chaos—nonstop hype without filler.

I'd say Dorohedoro kind of has similar vibes. The world is really cool and the characters are compelling (especially the villains!) It takes a minute to get used to the 3D animation (I almost skipped the series because of it), but the plot and world building are worth it.

Only downside is that it's on Netflix. :\\
