Anime recs for a romance + other genre!

I just finished apothecary diaries and I really enjoyed how the romance took second place to mysteries and other things happening in the show! Are there any other anime like this where romance is there but not the focal point!?

Bonus points if there is a similar vibe of ML (he reminds me of tamaki from Ouran hehe)

Old as hell and not all of it aged well but Inuyasha is almost OG for this. Throw in Spice and Wolf and arguably Steins Gate. All have fairly good romance subplots that are crucial to the plot but not the basis of it. I guess Violet Evergarden qualifies and is insanely good, but it's more romance heavy than the others imo.

Rascal does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai

Apart from the first arc (which focuses on the MC and his SO) all the following arcs are focused on other characters and their character-related problem.

Generally has romance elements and characters involved in romance or have romantic feelings but it’s closer to a character drama than an actual romance series.

Also the final season comes out next year(?)

Clannad is an awesome romance story, but while it's also about family and loss it is fundamentally a romance series. As in romance is the focal point.
