Hi chubbylonerloser, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

I love Baki but the characters mostly don't die when they should.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is what you're looking for. The hand-to-hand combat is done with huge axes, and the viscera is visceral when it hits the fan. And the ship-to-ship combat is not shy about showing people dying either. Nor are the major characters safe, as quite a lot of them don't make it to the series finale.

Watch the original OVA rather than the Die Neue These remake. The 1988 release is completed and is a full adaptation of the 10-novel source material, while DNT is barely halfway to the finish line.

The watch order:

My Conquest Is A Sea Of Stars -> Overture To A New War -> main OVA from episode 3 onward.

Bungou Stray Dogs, Akame ga Kill, Fate (somewhat)

"World Trigger" has this, although getting "eliminated" doesn't result in death.

It's basically a lobby First Person Shooter Hero Arena. Characters are squishy, but just get teleported to safety upon getting "killed". Swords, snipers, guns, etc.

Do titans count as human? just asking

etcetera9992026-01-08 00:25

hunter x hunter is mostly human v human but one of the arcs has human-like creatures
