I need your suggestions from over the years
Okay as a warning to start I’m a rambler so apologies in advance for the book I’m about to release lol now onto the point.
I don’t remember exactly when I started watching anime but it was definitely before 2019 however I started out watching Naruto on Netflix over and over again until my cousin told me to watch one piece and since it wasn’t on Netflix net for me I started a Funimation account and that’s where my journey started. Right before Crunchyroll took over I transferred my account over and slowly started watching stuff here and there, taking breaks on and off not really being super dedicated to being an anime watcher but still watching a decent amount but only ever on legal streaming services. In the last maybe 2-3 years I’ve been going into complete degenerate mode finishing 1-3 shows a day depending on episodes because my job at the time allowed me to watch episodes practically the whole shift and I didn’t really have a life outside of work so even outside of work if I wasn’t eating or sleeping I was watching anime and I got to a point where I felt like Crunchyroll didn’t have enough anymore lol
That was the ramble lol now to the real point, in the past 2 months I’ve started watching stuff “online” if you know what I mean and I have recently realized there may have been countless shows I’ve been missing on release over the years sticking only to Crunchyroll and now that I’m here I can’t help but wonder what I’ve missed. Keep in mind I’ve only really been watching on Crunchyroll over the years and before that funimation, but my “watched/completed” list is probably around 400 shows now idk i stopped keeping real track a long time ago and I was already at like 270 and I’ve been going way harder in the paint in the last couple years lol.
FINALLY onto the real question, for those of you that have been in the “online” game longer hell even those that are new maybe you’ve seen stuff I haven’t , what are some shows that you maybe noticed only came up on those “websites” but not Crunchyroll or maybe something that came out on hidive cuz that’s something I only found out about recently oddly enough, I’m just at a point where I need more suggestions because I get through the currently releasing stuff too fast and am running out of my own list of shows I still want to watch.
I really love anime but I’m not into the romance anime, idk why but it’s just never really been my thing, besides (and I consider this a skeleton in the closet lol) my dress up darling but idk if people consider that romance but I guess kinda idk, I’m also not a h anime person, I like my corn to be real world lol I’ve never really gotten into slice of life or horror anime either but I’m sure people will still drop whatever recs they want lol, y’all might consider me your typical anime loser but I love all the action and isekai and magic and dark/gore, military, fantasy, adventure and all that stuff, when it comes to those types of shows anything secondary like romance, harem trope, comedy, thriller, slice of life stuff that gets added is totally fine. Example Dr stone, headhunted salaryman or whatever that long ass name, bookworm, restaurant to another world or whatever. What I’m saying is it doesn’t have to be your typical op mc hero that goes on journey and beats demon king, BANZAI! Those of course are also welcome because like I said I love the slop too but what im really looking for is a little bit of everything from over the years that I’ve missed while being a streaming service pleb.
TO BE CLEAR IM NOT ASKING FOR WEBSITES IM ASKING FOR SHOWS I KNOW ITS BAD TO BE A PIRATE BUT ONE PIECE IS MY FAVORITE ANIME.
I know that was a lot so those that read it all thanks for staying for my ted talk and if you have questions be ready for a lengthy reply, you can ask me to keep it short and I’ll try but I’m not usually very successful at keep word count to a minimum lol
For those of you that don’t want to read it all,
IM NEW TO “PIRATE” WEBSITE ANIME AND WANT RECOMMENDATIONS I MISSED OVER THE YEARS, PLEASE HELP (no straight up romance, horror, or slice of life, but those genres as a secondary to something with action is fine)
Feel free to rec anything you think I might have missed (website or streaming service) and let’s see how many of you say stuff I’ve already seen, if you do you get a prize!

Anime that can't be found on Crunchyroll, got it. BTW, some of these MIGHT be on CR, I don't bother to verify, forgive me.
1) "Medalist"
2) "Sanda"
3) "Made in Abyss"
4) "Call of the Night"
Supposedly-netflix-stuff:
5) "The Summer Hikaru Died"
6) "Dungeon Meshi"
7) "Isekai Ojisan"
It's hard to look up what is on X, but not on Y. Legal platforms overcomplicate discussion, hee hee.
As for the premise, it's technically Uncle telling his nephew about his past isekai adventures. He just now returned and starts co-living with his nephew.
It is hilarious if you are a fan of random surprises or a contrarian. Ojisan is a geeky menace.
