Dubbed anime - Frieren + other recommendations
So I just watched Frieren dubbed, and I actually enjoyed it. I’ve never really liked the idea of watching anime or movies outside their original language—I usually prefer subtitles. I always thought dubs felt corny, especially when I’d already watched and heard the original voices.
But my eyes aren’t getting any younger, so I figured I’d give it a try just this once for a rewatch and watch it in English without worrying about reading subtitles. That said, are there any dubbed anime that are actually worth watching?
Also, 8 DAYS TO GO UNTIL SEASON 2 OF FRIEREN I CANT WAIT!

People also like Ace Attorney I guess.
Something halarious and 18+ to watch: Prison School. Hands down the funniest thing ive watched fr
the voice actors are so good in both dubs.
You get the point.
Most modern dubs are pretty high quality at this point, and there are some older gems that are very good as well.
Okabe without Miyano Mamoru just feels wrong and you miss out on this iconic line https://youtu.be/BYvhhMjW32k?si=3V9VWC6DuDfux2gO
They just want suggestions on good dubs.
So you missed the mark a bit there.
I appreciate both sub and dub for different reasons.
Sometimes, I want to veg out while I eat something or build Lego. It's nice to be able to look away from the screen for a moment and still be able to keep up with what's happening.
But I have also seen plenty of shows in both sub and dub, and there are times I prefer the sub.
One Punch Man and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure come to mind. Also, why did they change the way the titans scream and sound between the sub and dub of Attack on Titan? They sound so much better and menacing in sub.
Anyways, I get what you were saying. I enjoy both, was just saying they were specifically asking for dub.

English voice acting in anime is legitimately excellent more most major releases these days.
maybe some of your lesser shows get low effort. But not the big stuff.
Gachiakata english dub is incredible.
Dandadan is also incredible. Honestly there are too many great ones to name.
Cowboy Bebop is an all timer despite its age.
I've been watching Gnosia subbed, but I did check out some of the dub of episode 1 and it's perfectly fine. They nailed everyone, and one voice is even an improvement (the ship computer).
Gachiakuta has an INCREDIBLE dub and is a really good shonen overall.
Another awesome dub is Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider.
Baccano, the show takes place in 1920s America and the dub VAs actually took the effort to do somewhat period accurate accents plus a lot of Japanese mannarisms that feel off in the setting are removed.
Spice and Wolf, this one is very subjective but I really prefer dub Holo because she actually sounds like she could be an ancient being which I don't get any sense of in the Japanese original version (I know she uses archaic japanese but as someone who doesn't speak Japanese I can't pick up on that.
Black Lagoon, considering where the show takes place and the characters in it English is much more likely to be the common language for all and the script is absolutely wild with tons of swearing and other profanities which feel right at home in the show and work much better in English Imo.
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 and brotherhood), to me Vic Mignogna as Edward is simply too iconic to pass up on and the whole cast does a great job all throughout.
