Most of the stuff on this list is relatively recent too. They're missing a lot of the classics from the 80s and 90s. Would be pretty easy to find a list of best pre-2000s anime and start there.

Well first off you should probably start by rating the shows so that people have something to go off for recommendations. Second is that there are MAL rankings for this exact purpose

The whole saga Toaru have like 156ish episode if u have time to spend.

3 anime, 1 protagonist in each but still linked together. There is also some [watching orders](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/r46xbk/toaru_series_watch_order/) if u bother following it but it is not needed to enjoy the show.
