Hi _Render_18, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You might also find our [Recommendation Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/recommendations) or [daily thread](/r/anime/search?q=flair%3Adaily&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=week) helpful.

What is it about

Plenty-Cricket97152026-01-08 11:40

Its been awhile since ive watched. Toyko has to defend against an alien invasion and there are gates/portals that connect to other worlds. Its a shonen so there are alot of battle. Power system is kinda cool and alot of tactics are used in battles.

Shin Sekai Yori

Could you explain a bit about it

Guilty-Duty-59082026-01-11 09:36

It's hard to describe, starts out feeling like a kids adventure shonen but then really flips to a complex discussion of the values of a society and who gets to participate in it.

It has one of the most intense endings for an anime ever and I will definitely never forget it.

Watch Gundam it's a whole world of amazing anime that people in the west just ignore for some reason.

If you are old to anime you must've watched "Erased" and "Another", right? If you liked "Another" then you can watch "Corpse Party" and "Blood-C".

⚠️ NOTE: EXTREMELY DARK ANIME AND CONTAINS GØRE ⚠️

_Render_182026-01-08 17:22

Thanks a bunch and yeah I've watched Another and Erased they were some great animes anyways thanks a bunch
