That Naoya fight was something I really enjoyed when I saw it in Execution, alongside Yuta and Itadori meeting.

Also my guy yelling “Yuji” when Itadori said that he’s his bro. Best part lol.

I use to pray for times like this.

I am so happy I caught the first two episodes in the cinema, these episodes are so gorgeously produced and somehow a big step up from the already amazing looking season 2. This season has such a distinct style that really sets it apart from a lot of the big shounen adaptations, and if the trailers are anything to go by, we haven't even seen the best parts yet. Incredibly excited to see how they handle the rest of the season.

We now return to Choso vs Naoya! The power of blood control versus the ability to move at 24fps! One man will do anything for his brothers and strives to be a big brother they can look up to as an example, with the other hates and resents his brother and sees them as little more than a nuisance not worth their time. In a way, these two were destined to fight each other.

But if Choso's got anything, it's blood...no, seriously, he has enough blood to create a flood of blood that he can weaponize and eventually stick Naoya in place....and then blow it up all around him. This was Choso's win! At least until Yuta showed up and knocked him out in one swing. Jeez.

Look at Yuta with Reversed Curse Technique! Perfect for making Naoya feel indebted enough to go along with Yuta confirming he killed Yuji! And Naoya looking so angry and spiteful that he has to owe someone he sees as beneath him is the cherry on top.

Oh snap, baby Yuji! And...his dad, who seems kind of out of it? Seem like there was some argument between Yuji's dad and his grandpa over Yuji's mom who...died? But she seemed perfectly fine. Just your average Megumi Hayashibara MILF...wait, what's that scarring on her forehead ?

Did you really think Yuta had become this dog of the Jujutsu elders who would hunt Yuji down like a dog to kill him? Nah, he's still the same sweet and empathetic Yuta, he was even tasked by Gojo to take care of Yuji. All it took was forging a pact to kill Yuji, technically killing him, and then bring him back to life with Reversed Curse Technique! No big deal! After all, Yuji is special to the most important people in Yuta's life, so that makes him special to Yuta too.

It's nice of Yuta to say that what happened in Shibuya isn't Yuji's fault...but that's not going to do much for him. Megumi, for his part, is going to drag Yuji back to Jujutsu High and take equal responsibility for what happened whether Yuji wants him to or not, but at the end of the day they ARE Jujutsu Sorcerers and they can't always save the day or live in the idealized world of Superheroes. What matters is making the most of the lives they have and saving who they can, and right now Megumi needs Yuji to help save his sister...especially when Kamo has initiated a Jujutsu Death Battle known as the Culling Game.

I know the guy said that there was only a very slim chance Nobara would make it...but she's seriously dead? I just...I can't believe it. Now it's just Yuji and Megumi...and Choso too I guess.

Short-haired Maki! She might have lost her hair and gained some scars, but she's still the same surly and focused Maki! And now she's reunited with Yuta!

I love how Choso just walks in with a speech and a plan and nobody has any idea who he is except Yuji. Yeah, he's Yuji's brother, let's go with that. It's all Choso wanted to hear.

Using the bad guys' own plan to sneak into Jujutsu High! As well as Choso's ability to locate his other brothers' locations. I wonder if they'll end up freeing them?

Tengen-sama greeting them all by what makes them most significant! And voiced by Yoshiko Sakakibara!

Damn, the scene where Yuji asked about Nobara was something. I really hoped that he would say she's critical but alive. His reaction told me everything :( But hey, Maki is still alive!!

Choso thought they shared the same father but nope yet kinda yes. The one with stitches wasn't Yuji's dad but his mom. Instead of i'm your father fake geto is going to say I'm your mother lol.



Loved the Choso vs Naoya fight. Choso best big brother. Then though Yuta had to one shot him like damn. Loved seeing Naoya on the ground squirming like a worm though.



We got Yuki and Maki as well. So cute ngl when Yuta ran up to Maki especially contrasted with how menacing he was when fighting Yuji.



Then we all meet Tengen. Also, they really never fucking cleaned up Riko's bloodstains wtf. Everything started getting distorted when she died though. Man imagine if Toji just didn't kill that one girl?



We also really got into Yuji's head a bit this ep with how he feels about what Sukuna did in Shibuya.

Thank goodness Okkotsu just put on an act, he was very convincing this entire time. At least Itadori doesn't have to be worried about being chased for the time being but then Megumi introduces the Culling Games.

The rules are crazy and I'm like "Doesn't this mean Megumi will have to kill a non-sorcerer if he doesn't find a sorcerer in time?", I can understand why he was so frustrated that he has to to be part of this and why he had to ask Itadori for help.

My heart when Itadori reacted to Megumi's reaction when asked what happened to Kugisaki, that was real heavy and I know she isn't confirmed dead because that one guy froze her body, but I'm not sure if Megumi knows so they're both thinking she is.

I'm so glad Chousou was able to handle Naoya, I thought he was going to be overpowered but somehow make it out but he fought back using all his experience and love as the eldest brother. I'm glad he was rewarded with Itadori later calling him a big brother, that "Yuuuujiiiiii!" was so funny, he was so happy lol.

It was nice to see what Itadori's parents look like but seeing his mother having the head scar means that Itadori, is as Chousou thought, related to the thing inside Suguru's head. So the guy seduced Itadori's father? I didn't think he had those set of skills.

Chose is the best big brother. Also holy fuck being to freely turn your cursed energy into unlimited blood which has poison in it is so hax. Rmb that the other Noritoshi from Kyoto had to use blood bags to compensate.


I don't remember that opening scene of Megumi and Tsumiki from the recap movie. Wondering why they added it here? Or why the recap movie didn't include it.

i forgot how many characters were in this show. i need a major recap.

Man Choso fighting is always a treat. He's only had 3 fights and each one has been amazing. Also that YUJI was just perfection.

Again, animation is great as always, but the pacing felt sooo off, it felt like it's moving soo fast.

So Yuuta faked the whole thing. and while not too surprising is still a relief. i quite liked him after the movie so having him and Itadori fighting made me sad. But it was just to once again fake his death.

Maki is alive! (not like i haven't seen this look on her on the internet for years at this point) at least now i know how she looks as good as she does despite burning like that

When Naobito got roasted I thought it was a waste of a cool power. Good to see his son still exploiting the frames like he is a speedrunner

Seeing that Riko’s blood was just left there for over 12 years makes me really angry man. She deserved to live a happy life but then to just to never clean up where she died and have that blood left there just feels super disrespectful and pisses me off. Also crazy to think one of the people walking over that blood is her killer’s son.

So just to recap, the main villain Kaori (Yuji’s mom) used to take backshots from Jin (Yuji’s dad), and birthed Yuji, for the sake for whatever they are planning. That is true dedication. ~~Why was she so fine tho?~~

Now for the episode, I absolutely loved it! Choso vs Naoya was insane, especially the blood tsunami (or water that rush of blood is called) and Nayoa dodging it. Yuta showing his actual personality after he took care of business. Maki is back! The scars make her look more badass than she has. My wife Yuki is looking good as ever. Yuji also called Choso his Older Brother LETS GOOOOO!!! I also loved the music they were playing when the group was making their way down to Tegen (who I’m 90% is voiced by the narrator?). Also, I can’t wait for them to explain the culling game in the next episode cause Megumi called it an **act of terrorism **so it has to be diabolical, even his own sister got pulled in.

Overall another great episode! So glad they decided to release two episodes today. It also seems like the direction has gotten even better this season so I can’t wait to see what they are cooking for future episodes!
