What are some good romance animes you can recommend?

I have watched My Dress-Up Darling and I really liked it, although the fact that were underage didn't sit right with me for multiple reasons, but they looked like young adults so I just gaslit myself into thinking they were adults. I also really don't like cheating or the whole "who should I choose" stuff.

Any good romance anime recommendations you could make?

Bonus question: Will My Dress-Up Darling be finished?

Hmm, well if you liked My Dress Up Darling, maybe you would like other romance stuff like **The Dangers in my Heart** (really amazing character development in this one) or **The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity**, which is just very wholesome. If you want something funny and love music, I would also recommend **Bocchi the Rock**, I just re-watched it and it's just as good as I remember. If you want a more mature romance (based on what you said with My Dress Up Darling) you could also try **Golden Time** which is a pretty good college romance story. Hope you like the suggestions! In regards to the bonus question, the manga has finished and its a great read, but a season 3 hasn't been announced yet.

Nothing's been announced, but the studio making My Dress-Up Darling definitely wants to finish it. That scene near the end where all the other characters say like "I hope we can see each other again soon" while looking at the camera was intentional. Maybe they turn the last arc into a movie in a year or two? But who knows.

As for recs, have you seen Kowloon Generic Romance? The characters are adults so you should be more comfortable with it.

**Spice and Wolf** (I'd suggest the remake, but the original is great too) - Medieval fantasy setting, one of my absolute favorite anime series in general, bonus economics lessons.

**Rascal Does Not Dream** - Atypical high school romance, focus on several characters, deep drama that can hit pretty hard, still very wholesome.

**Horimiya** - More of a classic high school romance, great friend group, slice-of-life stuff, feels all warm and fuzzy.

All have fantastic English dubs too!

I'm fairly certain the My Dress-Up Darling anime will be completed. Guessing we'll get a third season or a movie to wrap it up.

I don't know if you like fantasy settings, but one of my favorite anime is **The Ancient Magus' Bride** (Mahoutsukai no Yome)
Also **Spice and Wolf** \- a remake came out recently, but I recommend watching the original 2 seasons first (I also highly recommend the light novel and manga)

I really liked Kimi ni Todoke (From Me to You). Though there is a bit of a problem with never-ending misunderstandings for a while, and that can get frustrating, but the main pairing is really sweet.
