Looking for a good romance anime to watch.

So I’m looking for a romance anime with a great plot to watch. I recently watched The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive, Makeine, and Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. Anything that isn’t cringe is fine.

I would argue that Alta and Boy-girl have their cringe moments. so how do you define cringe?

They indeed had cringe moments. I picked them because of their popularity. They were not the best. Although Alya was somewhat good after the first episode.

So I mean, a lot of romance centers on high schoolers so there is naturally going to be some awkwardness or “cringe”. Even with some adult romance. Try these ones:

* My Happy Marriage
* A Sign of Affection
* Josee, the Tiger and the Fish
* My Awkward Senpai
* I Have a Crush at Work
* Golden Time
* 365 Days to the Wedding
* The Ice Guy, and His Cool Female Colleague
* Science Fell in Love, So We Tried to Prove It
* May I Ask For One Final Thing has some romance element in it
* Snow White with The Red Hair
* The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-be Wife (just started airing)
* Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl SenpaiI

Those are all the adult romances I can think of that I’ve watched or am watching. If you can deal with the cringe of high schoolers awkwardness then try:

* Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms
* My Dress Up Darling (character is a cosplayer meaning you will have some fan service)
* Tonikawa
* Dangers in My Heart
* Bokuben: We Never Learn
* The Dreaming Boy is a Realist

Dangers in my heart is my favorite romance anime. The MC can be a little weird at cringe at the beginning. But trust me, it gets so good.

Tsuki ga kirei. I think it's cute and not cringe, but some people think pre-teens are cringe. So, it's up to you.

I also second the person who said Blue Box. It's light hearted compared to the first two I recommended, lol.

I’ve seen Blue Box mentioned a couple times, it’s underrated but I love how they flesh out feelings in a slow burn way. Horimiya is so good and just great vibes. Toradora is the goat in my opinion
