Interesting-Event3782026-01-09 06:04
This is one of those anime that I watched but I dont remember a thing.
RiceKirby2026-01-09 08:52
I only remember the Jenga episode that was a clear satire of Saki.
Bretreck2026-01-11 21:40
Lol. I liked Saki but the weirdness of having special moves in Mahjong was such an anime thing. I was fine with the girl who goes in a trance like she was playing online, that made some sense but I vaguely remember some girl getting special powers during a full moon or something. It's been a long time.
RiceKirby2026-01-11 21:56
That's pretty normal stuff compared to where the manga is right now.
In the manga we have [Saki manga spoilers] >!a girl who can see a few turns ahead in time, a girl who receive powers from some weird spirits and a girl who just casually swap the tiles at the table with the ones in another dimension!<.
bfg9kdude2026-01-09 09:24
Cuz the actual show only had 6 episodes of some plot, rest were random filler episodes shoved at the end.
Akavarna2026-01-09 11:17
I'm pretty sure I watched this during the 'time dialation' phase of my anime watching career
Bradst3r2026-01-09 13:11
The END song for episode 11 is the only thing I remember. Such an upbeat swing tune!
"[Thank You Bloomers](https://youtu.be/nGhmCl8qnPc?si=2RhoW0E5aHJaTV4K)"
See you next week!

Fan service existed for a decades for a reason dawg lmao
Different-Elk69352026-01-09 06:22
That song on the background sounds like Mr.krabs singing about his romantic life(probably involving money)
-Lige2026-01-09 07:21
Dame da ne, dame yo, dame na no yo…
TheCleanupBatter2026-01-09 09:12
Sounds like a parody of "So This Is Love" definitely staring Mr. Krabs trying to get the radio DJ to play it again.
__T0MMY__2026-01-09 12:50
Or like... "Tom Waits that's at home"
vajaxseven2026-01-09 21:30
Reminds me of the apple bottom jeans covered by Louis Armstrong.
Santedtra2026-01-09 06:38
Wow I don't remember this at all. Like, the only thing I can remember from this anime after having watched it over a decade ago is the bloomers vs spats war and the banger Happy New Nyaa opening.
sartnow2026-01-09 06:46
The fanservice is essential for the plot;

VNDan2026-01-09 06:51
I remember looking into this anime a bit since it was so weird, they (and the author?) just decided to do whatever they wanted for this anime, instead of actually adapting the source material. So each episode had a different director and it was an episodic mix of different ideas. Not sure if I can call it "good", but occasional scenes like this and maybe one of the earliest Jojo references does stick in my mind to this day.
zakary38882026-01-09 23:03
More modern Excel Saga
MrPaulK2026-01-09 06:53
Well that escalated quickly
milyuno22026-01-09 06:58
So this low tier anime with not a lot of viewers has better animation than One punch man 3?
LOTRfreak1012026-01-09 13:16
Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
Drumboo2026-01-09 14:21
It also aired over 15 years ago lmao
unEmployeeLogical912026-01-09 07:02
Such a one piece move they made here..!

Still more frames than OPM S3.

BeatBlockP2026-01-09 11:30
You mean the entire season, because this scene started with 3 frames and then raised the number exponentially
herlacmentio2026-01-09 12:34
That's what S3 means.
AbedGubiNadir2026-01-09 07:12
That One Piece pacing.
Smokeystick12026-01-09 07:23
SUCH BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION, BETTER THAN DEMON SLAYER
SoylentVerdigris2026-01-09 07:39
It didn't touch the table. So no point.
Zeng12342026-01-09 07:48
Marty supreme looking good
mysticzoom2026-01-09 08:02
Woah! Give dome of those frames to One Punch Man.
More animation in this than that entire Season 3!
TentsNTails2026-01-09 08:04
Better Animation that OPM Season 3.
Nachtwandler_FS2026-01-09 08:07
If I remember correctly, the director just said "do whatever the heck you want with your individual episodes". So each episode looked like a separate romcom variation slightly on drugs untill they did some actual plot in the last two episodes or so.
God_Of_Lemurs2026-01-09 10:44
For a second there I thought you were speaking in uwu language

because it doesn't have any substance! You could literally watch anything more entertaining in any sense of the word, better porn, better anime, a better story, but it's just. Slop. Pure, unadulterated slop.
Also, the fuck does it matter what I'm into, you fucking degenerate, lmao.
BorderKeeper2026-01-09 12:28
I love how their clothes were more and more revealing for no reason beyond fan-service as the time went on. 5 japanese animators thought of this, over-ruled everyone else, and then high-fived each other once this masterpiece of a scene was finished, anime at it's prime. The absurdity reminds me of High School of the Dead and this scene in particular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGuvfwSiu_w
Visitor_0512026-01-09 13:17
Enrique Iglesias do you know? (The ping pong song) Anime edition
potato_tempest2026-01-09 13:54

hand_me_a_shovel2026-01-09 15:14
Got to admit at first I thought the animation team had somehow managed to swing an easy scene as some sort of reward for good behavior.
Asurerain2026-01-09 15:35

Xatu442026-01-09 18:12

MumrikDK2026-01-09 18:35
The Powerpoint flipping in the first half of the clip saved up budget for the quaking boobs in the second half.
SynisterJeff2026-01-09 21:15
Animators were so focussed on drawing boobs that they forgot how to animate holding a paddle at the end there
ThrowColle2026-01-09 22:26
Ok but why are they appearing from left and right like one of them hit it into a corner prior? Everyone so far shot the ball through the middle.
Khoull2026-01-09 22:33
Cinema.
realmer172026-01-09 23:02
