Where do I watch uncensored?

Should I just sub to crunchyroll or hidive? Im not too into stuff like dxd but the animes that have some and have a big black bar or something stupid covering anything just ruins the show for me. Would you guys recommend crunchyroll or hidive or a different service for uncensored anime?

It varies with the anime in question. The only generally safe bet is finding a way to watch the home release versions (you rarely see them replace the original version on streaming sites), but typically if there's multiple versions out when a show first airs there may be a source that is more or less censored and that varies. It really depends.

Where do you find the home release versions? My b if this is a stupid question only starting to watch anime

You buy the blu-ray.

Crunchyroll and Hidive have the home releases for some shows, but not all.

Looking like hidive might be the move

It depends on the anime. These days they tend to be censored by default. As in a creative decision. Sometimes that can be different on the bluray but not always.

Crunchyroll and Hidive all have some uncensored anime, OceanVeil has 100% uncensored catalog tho

So I'm not sure what anime you're looking for, but generally anime that does have the censorship throughout the show tend to be on the more NSFW side. If you're watching a shonen or anything more along the lines of mainstream, there isn't any need to be censored given that the show itself simply wont show the parts that need to, or there will be some clever framing with the camera that a on-screen object will cover whatever in place of flat-out random black bars or light beams, and even then those moments rarely happen and you'll only see it like 1% of the time at best. That being said, High School DxD is on Crunchyroll, so an uncensored version will probably be on Hulu or smth.

Now if you're looking for anime that do use those black bars, light beams, or on-screen censoring over NSFW parts, you'll probably want to look at HiDive.

There is another site called OceanVeil, which licenses more NFSW anime than most licencees. They have Nukitashi, in English dub as well. Keep in mind that OceanVeil does have a NSFW toggle so filter out the NSFW titles.
