Broadcast starts January 10, 2026
I’m Rei Hitoma, a self-professed misanthrope thanks to some past trauma. Just when I thought my new teaching job in the mountains would provide a chill, rejuvenating environment, it turns out that this school is actually for demi-humans who want to become full-fledged human beings! There’s a mermaid, a werewolf, a rabbit, and a bird...all of whom are now my charges. It’s my duty to teach them about humankind—and maybe in the process, I’ll learn a few things myself. This isn’t an alternate world or a case of reincarnation. It’s just the story of a teacher at a somewhat peculiar school and his students who are striving to become human. AlphaBreak2026-01-10 04:15
Maybe that blind fairy is a guy? Or this is a stealth sequel to Scooby Doo and the ghoul School.
JeagerXhunter2026-01-10 04:29
Only girls can be demi humans duuuuh
ireojimayo2026-01-10 04:42

Cybrslsh2026-01-10 05:29
Just assume the blue haired one is Rimuru
HisaAnt2026-01-10 08:17
The title is wrong and the MC is actually a misandrist instead. He killed all the males because he wants that isekai harem life /s
Admmmmi2026-01-10 09:50
I mean, could be an all girl school and the guy really failed to look at what his job is going to be ..
Sneeakie2026-01-10 10:10
How am I supposed to jerk off to guys
hokanst2026-01-10 20:41
It was mentioned that it was an all girls school (around 4:34 in the episode) when the MC was checking out the job advert.
Krider-kun2026-01-10 04:28

The best.

Having read the LNs, it's a pretty fun series but I'm worried about the pacing. They're seemingly adapting vols 1-3 and I feel like that's a bit too much for a single cour. Still watching either way since vol 3 doesn't release in English until late March lol.
kaori_cicak9902026-01-10 04:39
Hmm wait
The top girl is "ash blossom"?????
ohm23022026-01-10 04:45
Oh this look interesting
selh2026-01-10 04:54
Floating girl looks like Ash Blossom, the yugioh card
AlfalfaShiroV962026-01-10 05:17
The sky blue haired girl remembers me of Marie dunallef from I killed the academy player
darkglooem2026-01-10 06:07
I hope i killed an Academy player one day gets an anime . All the waifus animated
HisaAnt2026-01-10 08:20
Goated webtoon. One of the better written ones like Pick Me Up!, The Knight Only Lives Today, The Regressed Mercenary's Machinations, and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. All of them better than Solo Leveling too
hiimneato2026-01-10 06:15
this... this looks sorta like it's going for quantity of monster girls over quality, you know? also, having an angsty maladjust who looks 16 as the teacher is not a setup that inspires confidence about this being particularly heartfelt or having good boundaries. and perhaps most of all, the sentence from the description that "this school is actually for demi-humans who want to become full-fledged human beings" has some pretty ugly implications. maybe - hopefully - it's just some crappy publicity copy, but the idea that the girls are less than human and need to be taught to be real human beings is pretty much the exact opposite of, well, a *good* show about a monster girl school.
see, I do love monster girls but I can't help but feel like my expectations for monster girl school have been set impossibly high by Demi-chan wa Kataritai. like... it's got Kaede Hondo as an adorable vampire gremlin, and Junichi Suwabe as the best teacher and best middle-aged man in anime, Takahashi Tetsuo, but the writing is also just really, really good.
don't get me wrong, I'll check it out, because, again, *monster girls*, but I got a bad feeling and I'm keeping my expectations real low
seninn2026-01-10 13:28
I'll take whatever I can.
HugeRichard112026-01-10 06:40
Surprised there's more characters. In the PV it only showed like 4 of them in his classroom.
Still on the fence of this show seemed a bit empty in the PV and the male MC feels pretty self insert and bland. Girls seem fun and uniquely designed though so I assume they will carry the show
ChampionshipIll61712026-01-10 07:56
Looks so fun! Can’t wait to see how it plays out.
Euphoricus2026-01-10 08:11
Under what logic would a misanthrope become a teacher?
seninn2026-01-10 13:26
And yet, there are so many.
mmcjawa_reborn2026-01-10 15:43
From my experience the act of teaching is what turns you into an misanthrope (or at least reinforces that view)...
akzester2026-01-10 08:30
Another isekai waifu harem anime? Skip.
mr_beanoz2026-01-10 11:21
why? any recommendations for the good ones?
Irru2026-01-10 13:22
He's a teacher and it's not isekai???
Bakatora342026-01-10 15:16
This isn't a Isekai at all.
Eidra_Lune2026-01-10 09:02
Reminds me of terrified teacher at ghoul school except it's not harem
thehaxorman2026-01-10 09:32
that was my first thought as well, but my gut feeling says this won't be as good as ghoul school.
tripleaamin2026-01-10 13:52
I have the same feeling. Though at the very least production values will be better in this one since it’s the studio that did Arifureta.
MordredLovah2026-01-10 10:56
Where horse?
Sloth_HK2026-01-11 08:35
Vaush?
MetaThPr4h2026-01-10 15:02
Praying and begging that this one lives up to my blind hype for it, god they are all so cute.
SummerSatellite2026-01-10 16:16
What kind of monster girl is the people gyaruish one?
JackReact2026-01-11 00:23
\*squints\* welcome back Interviews with Monster Girls
Otherwise_Task78762026-01-12 18:11
Oh damn this seems a bit different from a decent few anime, time to give it a try!
_Deep_Submerge_2026-01-12 20:13
This is one of the animes I can't wait to see!
ZzZideas2026-01-16 10:14
the intro song was a surprising banger. I might have to watch it for that.
