The only problem is the international wait time. It sucks waiting 6+ months to see a canon arc while the internet is full of spoilers.

It feels like that gap is closing lately. I saw 4 anime movies in the theater in 2025 and I think most were like 1 month after the JP release.

That's true for theaters, they are getting way faster! My pain is mostly waiting for the digital/streaming release afterwards. 😅

Only if you have a TikTok attention span.

No.
You can always wait for digital release like everybody else if you don't want to or cannot watch it in the theater for whatever reason.
Anime movies (canon or not) doing well on the big screen is a plus for both the industry and the fans.
If you don' want to wait and dont want to watch it in the theater that is a you problem.

Better than Filler Anime Movie, especially for Battle Shonen. Hated Naruto's, Bleach's, Black Clover, and BnHA one.

Every anime should get the Princess Princess treatment where instead of season 2, they just do 6 movies over the course of 12 years.
