personally it wasnt a great year for me. its just fine. some shows that came out i really love and easy 10/10 like the top 4 while others are between 6-9.

but other than these shows, i have no other names i think that is worth mentioning. im sure some are gonna disagree with me saying lots of good sequels came out. yes, lots of sequel for big names came out, its just that im not a fan of those big names like:

1) Dr. stone. i read the manga and think the manga is one of the best shonen series. but for the anime im just watching for some scenes i wanna see animated soooo

2) Seishun buta yarou. i like the first season. but then it spiraled into movie sequels and i just lost track and lost interest. i also hate how this is a harem where they keep adding girls (yes i know thats just how the story is) but already cemented the winning girl since the start. (like SAO).

3) dandadan 2, sakamoto days, kaijuu 8 s2, spy x family 3. For these im a manga reader, while they were good in early chapters, i think they fell off hard in later chapters. kaijuu 8 was never anything great since the start (it was like 6 at best) but then it proggresively gets worse by each chapter. dandadan and sakamoto days manga i think overstayed its welcome, at one point both got so repetitive and predictable while the story somehow just keeps wanting to never end. the author just refuse to end them (kinda like rental gf). spy x family also i just lost interest after a while.

4) MHA last season. i also read the manga. despite the good production quality, honestly im just tired of MHA by this point (and this arc). the characters just wont stop yapping after yapping. like the monologues and so on is just never ending, they just wont shut up. like by this point i get it already all the character backstories, motives or whatever. the heroes by this point shouldnt try debate morals with the villains anymore or whatever. they are irredeemable. just focus on stopping them instead of yapping. but maann yeah. the dialogue is just unbearable for me

5) grand blue 2. actually one of the worst comedy ever. the only good thing about it is hot waifu

6) call of the night 2. solo leveling 2. apothecary diaries 2. 100 gf 2. didnt like s1, didnt watch s2

7) ao no exorcist. i liked the first 2 seasons. but s3 was all over the place and by season 4 i just wasnt that excited anymore. while the backstory and all was good, im just exhausted of yukio being yukio.

side note: i have been eyeing uma musume for a long time tho but havent had time yet
