I need to start comparing manga read to the anime.
Once I started reading manga I just can’t go back to anything but manga first viewing.
It’s so exciting seeing the characters come to life and how thu are going to adapt it!
I just recently started reading Conan and I love His Seiyu as Hibiki Tendo in Ranma.

I loved the show back then, but I feel like it's getting boring now. I feel the main story progresses really slow now with the amount of characters and groups tied to the story. And then the fillers, there's just way too many filler episodes before you get to the main story again.

The whole point of the show isn’t the overarching plot, but the small, standalone cases that people like to dismiss as filler. Yes, they don’t advance the Black Organization storyline, but most viewers watch the series precisely for those “case of the week” episodes.
Of course I want to see the ending too, but that’s not the reason I and most people read it.

It's never gonna end because it's a staple weekly show like Doraemon and Sazae-san. The manga does progress though albeit very slowly.

Don't really like the way Aoyama's art changed over time. The angular faces on the kids just doesn't sit well with me.
Also the folks at TMS really felt the pressure to show off because of YAIBA huh.

No, probably never. It's been over 1000 episodes, if there is to be a major changing plot, they would've done it. But alas, nothing really serious happened since, all the characters are still alive, Conan's secret is still safe, and Ran still can't put two and two together.
Safe to say this is more of a slice of life anime, like Sazae san, Lupin 3, and Doraemon.

In the anime is a bit deceiving. 60% of episodes are "original". Read it as "filler". 1180\*0.4=472 episodes are from manga (more or less)

I have to add that the math is based in episodes from 750 onwards. Im trying to reach the present using the episodes legally available in CR. But I decided that I will jump over filler episodes. So I had to program a way to know wich episodes I have to watch. The data comes from Wikipedia. Watching 1 case per week (so usually 2 episodes, or rarely 3 episodes) and jumping over filler means than I will watch the episode of this week... in **may of 2027**. Is absurd.

Soy de los que descubrieron conan por magic kids (ya se imaginaran que soy +40 fácil) y ver esto da bastante nostalgia, hace poco netflix agrego unas recopilaciones bastante piolas de la serie, son dos arcos divididos en los enfrentamientos contra la organización de negro (alrededor de 15 capítulos) y el otro muestra la introducción de muchos de sus rivales/compañeros (alrededor de 20 capítulos), los vi hace maso una semana y posta están piolas, me imagino que la mayoría de esos capítulos son sacados del comic original, una buena forma de ver algo de la serie sin comerse los mas de 1000 capítulos que tiene.
