Just a correction, it's not the main staff from the first season of Mushoku Tensei, it's part of the staff; this is the director's debut.
The most significant thing he had done before was directing 3 or 4 episodes of season 1 of Mushoku Tensei, including episode 21 which featured the fight with Orsted.

Eris has been getting similar chapters in the LN, but it's been longer so there's more of them. They *might* do another "Episode 0" but I could see (and hope) they give it 2-3 instead.
And for the 100% pure uncut copium they could give us Ghyslaine's skipped side chapter from right after the teleport while they're at it.
I don't know about S1, though. With that being said, I know people are saying the S1 key staff are working on Sentenced to Be a Hero this season. Honestly, as much as fans would want the S1 quality again, it might be better to just let it go and just hope for an improvement compared to S2.

Just a correction, it's not the main staff from the first season of Mushoku Tensei, it's part of the staff; this is the director's debut.
The most significant thing he had done before was directing 3 or 4 episodes of season 1 of Mushoku Tensei, including episode 21 which featured the fight with Orsted.
I read the manga quite a while ago, wasn't really hooked.
Only saw clips and meme how he gets a thousand wives in his harem.
I don't mind basic Isekai, but this seems to takes itself seriously.
We have been waiting for this arc to be animated for sooo long. I am cautiously optimistic that they nail this season

This series is pretty good. Best world building I've seen, great combat system. The fights are not filled with flashbacks. You just watch a fast sharp combat with good animation. The story is also pretty good.
