Give me MID anime recommendations

Enough with the Good, enough with the karma farming Bad anime recommendations, just give me some middle of the road anime

Nothing that special, not much new. Something you can kind of just throw on, and let it fill up your time, and then 5 years later debate yourself on whether you ever watched it

Could be isekai, could be rom Com, could be only male in a sea of women (ball), or it could be underdog. Could be anything thats only barely worth watching

5/10 if we were using the scale correctly 6.5/10 if we are using the scale in reality.

Easily the weakest of the Harem romcom style where they ended up with 1 at the end.

I'd suggest watching any of the other ones first like Quints/Amagami sister/Mikadono etc...

Mother's Basement ranked it as the worst anime of 2025 but I'm pretty convinced that's solely because of who it was written by as he put some egregiously bad fantasy/Isekai as better than it.

It's watchable but not terrible or amazing

I second Amagami sisters, I went in with no expectations but ended up really enjoying it, even ordered the manga afterwards which is a first for me.

[Guilty Crown](https://anilist.co/anime/10793/Guilty-Crown/) - my most rewatched mediocre Show. I fucking love this series but it is just mid but thanks to a good directing by Araki, some nice visuals and a banger OST (early 2010 Sawano is still the best IMO) its totally watchable.

Gangsta and Darwin's Game for me. Fine to watch, I'm not sad I watched them, but they both definitely had their problems and got a 5/10.

Lol. While certainly I don't think it is the masterpiece some people considers, the 2nd season is interesting with the themes of survivors guilt and soldiers coming back to civilian life. The racism is a lot less "in your face" too.

Ost and animation are pretty good, so it is definitively above average (not mid).

Blast of Tempest. It's got some good things goin for it, it's got a few really good scenes. Doesn't do anything really bad. Don't care for some of the side characters. All around fine time.
