Sawano can be hit or miss. AoT, 86, Promare were all insanely good for me. TBHX, Guilty Crown, Blue Exorcist were good but lacked that big weight. SL and Bubble felt like they were phoned in. In general his OPs are kind of weak.

Dont agree with the second part but i think Sawano is better at insert songs that are built around a specific moment in the shows story than he is at making an OP. Even with Solo Leveling i found Dark Aria and Shadowborn much better than the OPs.

Episode 0 was released as a double length OVA two years ago, and because of how long production was taking they released Episode 1 a year ago. Episode 2 aired today and it'll be getting a full 12-ish episodes weekly, but it'll require at least one more season after that so who knows how long that could take.

Man I know this is animated by A-1 right?? cuz holy they must have trained under Ufotable cuz they are kinda hitting the notes.. I have literally seen a lot of the anime they produced and they all have the same thing that makes you identify the studio but this one.. definitely follows the Ufotable formula. Since so far I find it that each studio has their own quirks when animating a series.. like you can see a mappa animation from a mile.
Though idk yet since I can't hear dem Crunchy freaking sounds yet..
