**What I definitely remember:**

I recall there being a husband and wife. The wife was cheating on her husband with her husbands boss. It was a modern Japanese office setting. They were also framing the husband for stealing massive amounts of company funds, after which they wired it to themselves. The woman and the husband’s boss would date/meet in a restaurant.

**What’s not clear to me:**

• I believe the woman and the boss got married after the money transfer

• I believe the wife had red hair.

• It may have been a sub plot.

• They may have been dating rather than married.

• The MC (or other character) killed the boss and met the wife at the restaurant, pretending to be the boss. Additionally, I believe the wife was also killed.

• I believe the boss and woman had the husband killed after they wired the money to themselves.

• I recall the anime being a serious one with dark themes.

• I believe the table that the boss and woman would go to had a large opening in the buildings wall beside it (or maybe it was a booth?)

It can’t be monster, Conan, or kinidachi files as I’ve never seen them. The first two anime that came to mind were iron blooded orphans and LoTGH: Die nue these, but the modern Japanese office setting contradicts those.
