Hitori no Shita S2 Ep4-5 - why does the kidnapped guy still forfeit?
In Season 2 Episodes 4-5 of Hitori no Shita, Hou-nee kidnaps one of Soran's upcoming opponents while he's asleep. She later shows Soran the guy tied up, Soran unties him, and he's clearly fine.
Yet when the match happens, that opponent is still ruled a no-show/ forfeit, and Soran takes the reputation hit.
Did I miss an explicit explanation (anime or manhua)? Or is this just left unresolved?
