Please recommend some romance anime!
Some of my favorites are: Komi Can’t Communicate, Charlotte, Angel Next Door Spoils me Rotton, Bunny Girl Senpai, Plastic Memories, Blue Box, (and so much more that I simply can’t remember). I’ve dropped Oreshura, Oregairu (dropped but my friends told me to watch it all, still found it boring), and same for More than a Married couple. I don’t mean to offend anyone with this I just want recommendations.

So these recommendations fall short on that. If you like the build up you might enjoy these.

I'd like to find a anime myself where there is actual physical intimacy and we get to enjoy them being a couple not just the lead up.
Kimi ni Todoke (which has basically the same premise as Komi, the shy/socially awkward who just wants to make friends despite everyone keeping their distance, but executes that premise in a totally different manner), is probably my favorite romance anime, w/ Toradora! (which may well have the best character writing in any romance anime I've seen) as a close second.
As other's have already mentioned, Horimiya and The Dangers in my Heart are both excellent, though in the latter, the ML/POV character is a cringy little chunni edgelord (at least at first), which was a little hard to watch (but totally not because he reminded me a little of myself in junior high . . . no, definitely not . . . couldn't be . . . I said it's not, seriously!)
For me, Banished from the Hero's Party is basically a sweet romance where the main couple just happen to take breaks from being absolutely adorable together to fight the occasional monster/demon/etc., especially in season 1. It also has the rare distinction of featuring adult MCs, and they even get together relatively early on in the 1st season
Another one w/ grown up MCs is Spice and Wolf, and I enjoyed both the 2009 and 2024 versions
Dan da Dan is another one that I wouldn't primarily classify as a romance anime, but has great chemistry between the ML and FL, though w/ everything else going on, the romantic aspect is a bit of a slow burn (tbf, besides Horimiya and Banishe from the Hero's Party, that's true of all of the shows mentioned)
Both The Duke of Death and his Maid and My Dress Up Darling (MDUD hereafter) are both definitely in the ecchi genre, but but also have gotta be the sweetest, most wholesome ecchi series I've ever seen, and the animation and character design in the latter are both amazing. All in all, Gojo and Marin (MDUD) might be my favorite couple in all of anime, and I feel like they have the potential to become a Gomez and Morticia (from the Addams Family, generally considered the healthiest relationship in TV history) level couple. If you end up liking MDUD, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction isn't quite as good, but it's a very similar premise, just w/ a harem
Speaking of harems, 100 Girlfriends not only the best harem protagonist of all time, but I think it beat out my previous favorite, My Next Life as a Villainess, for best harem, (though I still love that the latter has a co-ed harem)
If you'd be more interested in a non-harem otome isekai, then instead of My Next Life as a Villainess, I'd go for Endo and Kobayashi Live, and as a bonus, it has both a fantasy and a real world couple
Pseudo Harem is a bit light on plot, but it's super sweet and wholesome
Ah! My Goddess is an OG fav, though, as is called out in universe, the romance (or at least the physical intimacy) is a bit grade school level. Another cute, sweet series where the main couple get together right off the bat w/o knowing anything about each other is Tonikawa
I really enjoyed Call of the Night, and if you don't really like the supernatural aspect of that one then I'd watch Insomniacs After School instead
If a Super Hero/Villain rom-com sounds goo to you, I'd highly recommend Love After World Domination
If you like a Cinderella style story, then I'd suggest checking out My Happy Marriage or Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts
As for movies, I really like Weathering with You
I enjoyed A Sign of Affection, though, unlike virtually every other show I've mentioned, I've only watched it once
If you like the idea of a slice of life "knight in distress and his damsel in shining armor" story then I'd highly recommend Shikimori, which gets bonus points for being the only story I can think of where the MCs are already an established couple from the very start
