Help me choose between these anime
1. Yami shibai
2. Ghost hunt
3. Dark Gathering
I want to watch a horror anime with ghosts that's scary. I would also prefer if it has good animation.

There is also one airing today, Kaya chan something the name, but i havent watched that one yet.
Yami Shibai does something that's interesting in that it's the most different visually and its episodes are shorts with very short stories, but I don't think someone desiring good animation is going to be pleased with it as the aesthetic is based around basic paper cut-outs and more limited animation.
Ghost Hunt, I just found the characters - mainly the female and male leads, too obnoxious.
Dark Gathering therefore is probably the best choice. It's also the one I found the best out of the three. Although how "scary" it is to someone is, as always, very personal and subjective. I find very little in anime (like perhaps one or two series) and honestly media in general scary, but am desensitized to horror so can't go by me.
But of the three if trying to judge it more removed from myself, I'd still say that Dark Gathering is scarier than the other two.
The first one is about some extra-dimensional beings in another dimension that are honestly even more disturbing than the average ghost, of all different forms and poorly understood/perceived by humans.
And the second is about...well, it's treated like a mystery early on in the series so not sure if that would be a spoiler, therefore I'll refrain from saying, but it's one of the best horror series in anime.
