BABYMETA
themcvgamer2026-01-11 16:21
I have said this is my favorites OP this season like 4 times already and this dropped
jej31312026-01-11 19:01
What are the others?
themcvgamer2026-01-11 19:51
I love JJK's, Polar Opposites' and Journal with Witch's. Darwin Incident's is super catchy too
SChamploo122026-01-11 23:56
Surprisingly enough this is my least favorite JJK opening.
teddyburges2026-01-11 22:20
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! .you weren't kidding. I had only heard of the name, but had never seen a frame of this series. Nor was really interested in watching...until now. I know what I'm binging this weekend.
Sea-Rhubarb-78632026-01-11 23:06
You’re in for a wild ride! The animation for Hells Paradise has always been top-tier,but this new OP with BABYMETAL just takes the hype to another level. Enjoy the binge, it’s totally worth it
teddyburges2026-01-12 10:36
Just finished. I'm now up to date and all caught up!. I may end up switching to the manga because I'm not sure I'll be able to handle waiting weekly for new episodes to drop.
zelos222026-01-12 00:42
If you like battle shonen you’ll love this
teddyburges2026-01-12 00:45
I love anything with a good story and a good soundtrack. Demon slayer. Re: Zero. Dangers in my heart. Oshi No Ko. you name it. The striking character designs already has me wanting to watch it.
t1dus132026-01-11 16:33
Absolute banger
Best_in_Za_Warudo2026-01-11 16:39
hoooooly banger
FOXHOUND90002026-01-11 16:45
Weaker opening than the one for first season, but still very good - first's season OP was just too good.
yubiyubi21212026-01-11 17:43
maybe just you i like this song than ss1
MinorityHunterZ0r02026-01-11 17:47
People are incredibly fast to judge. Like give it a week or something to marinate in your thoughts lmao
what_that_thaaang_do2026-01-12 00:43
IMO even if you say "give it a week," Work didn't even NEED a week, that song instantly stood out to me as a banger. This new song is pretty good but it doesn't stand out to me nearly in the same way. Guessing that's just me though
MinorityHunterZ0r02026-01-12 04:28
Idk, Work needed that week for me personally
teddyburges2026-01-12 06:58
Different strokes for different folks. It could be because this was the first opening I saw. But this opening is more suited to my music tastes. I can't make heads or tails out of the first opening. It's partial rap throws me off. I also just really love the imagery of the second opening. The first opening is very meh for me.
nahk_js2026-01-11 16:46
There was no way an OP sang by Tatsuya Kitani and Babymetal was not going to be good...
This was amazing.
My only minor issue would be Sagiri Asaemon should have been more highlighted in the OP considering she is the second protagonist of this story.
I love the ascetic flame of Gabimaru.
Not ready for the Mei arc to be animated...
EyeDeeAh_422026-01-12 20:42
>My only minor issue would be Sagiri Asaemon should have been more highlighted in the OP considering she is the second protagonist of this story.
Exactly my sole complaint of this OP. The S1 OP gave Gabi and Sagiri equal relevance and highlight, but here she's barely present (maybe one action scene at most idk).
Banger OP, but I wish there was more Sagirin.
Satan_su2026-01-11 17:24
First seasons OP ended up being my most played song of that year.... Let's see how this one goes
Organic-Habit-30862026-01-11 17:29
Unrelated but is this season set to finish the manga?
Nachtwandler_FS2026-01-11 18:24
I heard S1 only adapted 1/3 or so of the manga, so maybe not.
DietrichDoesDamage2026-01-11 19:22
Back half of the manga is pretty meaty on good fights, so I assume there's one more season in em
InvestigatorFree37522026-01-11 17:36
this song is incredible
Various_Length_49052026-01-11 18:44
Ultra banger. OP of the season so far for me
DietrichDoesDamage2026-01-11 19:14
i need this song to be released on streaming already
cjbobs2026-01-12 06:04
It is now!
Haokah2262026-01-11 19:32
Didn't think Babymetal were allowed to do Anime Openings and such. Something about their manager having issues with it.
Colcrys2026-01-11 20:16
BabyMetal was also used in the opening of the latest season of One Punch Man.
Haokah2262026-01-11 20:35
Didn't know that, but I have never been much of a One Punch Man fan.
Son-Of-Serpentine2026-01-11 22:05
They chose not to do anime OPs because of the stigma, now that they are huge they can do what they want.
Haokah2262026-01-11 22:08
Ah that's cool. I have enjoyed BABYMETAL for a few years now. Its cool to see their popularity rise and finally do some OPs for anime.
Dry_Boss57422026-01-11 20:56
they cooked so hard w/ this
Creepy_Photo58332026-01-11 21:20
These openings keep on getting more and more cinematic. Looks like a dang movie trailer! Should I start watching hell’s paradise?
LowraAwry2026-01-11 21:33
I'm gonna go a bit against the grain here and say: while I love most of it (especially the melody/instrumental), I don't like how the two voices mesh in places. I think Tatsuya has a very robust voice that really overpowers at points when both are singing while Su's comes off bit shrill (I think the second part of the chorus). Maybe it's the production/mixing or perhaps I have to listen to the whole track.
Dense-Gap38792026-01-12 00:56
MY FAVORITE OP OF THE YEAR SO EAR
Ok_Effort_19372026-01-12 01:08
no as good as season 1 op
KanraLovesU2026-01-12 10:38
This is good but the first OP is just too legendary.
I personally can't get over how this song sounds too much like generic J-Rock even if they did add a sprinkle here and there.
Akash77132026-01-12 11:58
its good
Time_Fracture2026-01-15 10:51
Storyboarded and directed by **Hajime Otani**. I'll be looking for Sentenced to be a Hero OP later today. Already heard the full song and it's totally good.
