The song, based on the lyrics, would be more applicable towards Frieren's POV.
With some of the lyrics as such as:

With Himmel always being there for her during their journey, but now that he's gone, somehow she still feels that he's there. Shows with her constant flashbacks about him.

>*it still remains, warm.*
With the previous chorus being
*Promises, you know, hold them dear—they remain, warm.* This shows that now those promises and memories turn into feelings that Frieren is trying or has understood after a long time, and yes they still remain warm to her, but not just as memories and words of the past, but **feelings** of the past, in which she failed to comprehend when her party was still around.
If you were to read the lyrics, translate them, and put some Frieren context into it, you'll see that the song is pretty awesome haha

Haru is still by far my favorite musically, but this is definitely something I'm gonna sit down and transcribe later, the guitar sounds like so much fun to play.
Kinda the only reason I dislike the first OP lol, which is Ironic as I fell in love with YAOSOBI because one of her earlier songs had a kickass solo.

YOASOBI is a band, not a female singer.
So saying "her" here is inappropriate concidering that the vocalist has a separate solo carreer as Lilas/Lilas Ikuta. And that other main member keybordist/songwriter Ayase is also established solo artist.

No, it is a band. Two main members are vocalist Rira "ikura" Ikuta and composer/keybordist Ayase. But they also have a whole bunch of extra members performing with them live.
You can here the vocalist solo in the third Apothecary Diaries OP or ED of the latest Spy x Family seadon. May sound simikar to YOASOBI because of the same vocals but it is her solo project.
And for anyone curios Ayase eecently sand Buddy Daddies OP and first OP for new Kenshin anime (in duet).

imo compared to Mrs. Green APPLE's anime OP before this (Kusushiki, The Apothecary Diaries Season 2), this is way better. This reminds me of [Official Higedandism's Blue Box OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0jg9hNHqn8) in 2024.
Hot take, this is even better than Yorushika's Sunny.

I think so far the 3 openings for Frieren have really nicely portrayed the vibe of the show based on where the content is at! Pretty amazing ngl
