This is my favorite show of the season so far. It's a pretty somber slice of life with great characters and direction.

This has been a pleasant surprise for me. Going in blindly it actually turned out really good. Slice of Life anime with a tinge of melancholy, probably my top anime of this season so far.

I adore Usagi Drop and the two episodes of Journal with Witch so far have been great but I couldn't exactly explain why.
There's something to that comparison that fits really well besides the "adult adopts a relative's kid" premise (while a lot of the details are different).

Just picked this show up today solely because I noticed my goat Miyuki Sawashiro was one of the leads, but what a gem this is.
