I’m looking for an anime I watched 10ish years ago

The only things I can remember clearly about it is that it was a detective/mystery. The characters or at least the main two were high schoolers. And that at the end of the series there was a scene where the main female lead had to get to the male lead by train to give him some sort of key to prevent a necklace from around his neck from exploding.

There was also some scene that had to do with the main characters getting locked in a room but they managed to escape because the male lead had put paper in the door keyhole so it couldn’t be locked.

Please help me find this anime! I’ve been looking for it for so long. I need help!!

The train scene with the key and the exploding necklace sounds very much like Hyouka or possibly a specific arc from Detective Conan, but the high school setting and the keyhole trick remind me of Gosick. Have you checked if it might be one of those That keyhole detail is very distinct

I think I mixed up the atmosphere of hyoukas mysteries with something else in my head. You're right hyouka is way more grounded than that lol. Gosick or Detective Conan still feel like stronger possibilities for that specific scene though
