Any anime where the main character meets a childhood or teenage friend after a long time?
What I mean is the main character meeting someone they knew years ago but hadn't talked to or seen in that time by random chance somewhere that becomes like a focus/arc of the anime I guess (the last part is not a hard rule). Are there any anime like that? Any genre is fine, also it's fine whether neither/only one/ both remember the other.

Romance/Drama. It’s about an MC reuniting with past friends after 7 years and regaining the memories he lost due to an accident.

Other such examples that come to mind are: Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian and Love, Your Lie in April, Ai Yori Aoshi, Love Hina, Chunibyo and other delusions (which has several notable cases throughout the anime). Revolutionary Girl Utena also does revolve around this idea too. And I guess Madoka Magica from Homura's perspective is quite similar.
And if you don't mind getting into very extreme ecchi (borderline hentai) and controversial territory (incest), Yosuga no Sora does this a lot.
Ranma, Mushoku Tensei, Oshi no Ko, One Piece, Accel World, Nana and Kaoru, Love Hina, To-love-ru, etc. In a sense also Hero Aca with All Mights US friends and Nighteye (?), Dragonball with Radditz or the just people meeting up again after the time skips, Shaman King, Card Captor techinically, Quintuplets.
