My friend told me to watch this show called your lie in April, I was wondering if it was any good

My friend and I have slightly similar tastes in shows, and he told me to watch this show. He told me it has a wholesome ending, that is something that made me happy because I despise sad endings after I watched cyberpunk. So I was wondering if he gave me a good recommendation.

Happy ending… I wouldnt call it a happy ending. Bittersweet, sure, but not happy. Depends what you want, but I loved it

It’s an easy recommendation for me personally. The slapstick humor feels really out of place though; especially in the first few episodes.

It also demands a rewatch after you finish it. Once you know the whole story lots of scenes hit very different.

Your Lie in April is a great beautiful romance, very much worth watching, but your friend is trolling you. This is an anime that will make you cry like there's no tomorrow.
