* The Dangers in My Heart (beautiful romance anime, it's sweet)
* Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines (kind of a romance parody? I personally love this one, especially the comedy and the characters)
* Mob Psycho 100 (coming of age + sprinkles of good action)
* Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun (I was in post anime depression after binging Kaguya sama and this pulled me out of it haha; the format is kind of similar but the couple dynamics are pretty different)
* Komi Can't Communicate (slow romance, but the relationship -both platonic and romantic- development is cute)
* Insomniacs After School (beautiful story of developing passion and friendship + overcoming trauma)

If you would be interested in dabbling in some other types, I think Dandadan, Great Pretender, Zom 100, and Vivy Flourite Eye's Song (this one especially). I personally haven't watched Clannad yet, but I think you might like it.

The 2020 anime Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni: Gou (Higurashi When They Cry: New), is a sequel to the original story, not a remake. **Don't accidentally start with Gou**, as it's full of spoilers.
(_Note: in most (if not all) regions, the only Higurashi anime on Crunchyroll, is Gou. Also, the original Visual Novel is currently available on Steam, under the title"Higurashi When They Cry: Hou", with the first arc being free to download._).
