Fast and Furious

Kinda funny during the peak of Vtuber popularity, a bunch of multimedia franchises jump their chance at Vtuber scenes even Uma Musume with PakaTube but somehow only Bandori worked maybe because it actually tries to be "in universe" unlike other.
WANNFH2026-01-12 16:57
PakaTube predated PEAK of VTuber popularity though for years, it started in damn early 2018.

What is going on in this image
anxientdesu2026-01-12 07:02

ExLuckMaster2026-01-12 07:53
The Takopi have enough craps and decide to invade us.
zairaner2026-01-12 12:37
Introducing violence to them maybe wasn't such a good idea...
freeze-peach-warrior2026-01-12 08:03
Looks like it's trying to be an old-school [Showa-era movie poster](https://x.com/ninneko1225/status/2010595833939660825)?
plsdontattackmeok2026-01-12 09:54
~~Is this Bang Dream even?~~
Kirigaya_Mitsuru2026-01-12 10:25
Seems like an Alien invasion is going to happen.
Delisches2026-01-12 17:16
Bandori started smoking the good shit.
alotmorealots2026-01-13 11:24
Started?
You should have a look at *Mofornication* lol
CosmicPenguin_OV1032026-01-12 07:13
Bandori is really heading To The Moon huh...
As I said when the anime was announced last year, their songs actually have pretty dark lyrics and I wouldn't rule out this *Zombieland Saga* like VTuber world of imagination actually hides some really painful-to-read and emotional stories behind the "real girls" (which was shown in the previous PV).
[They got some long time collaborators in the](https://anilist.co/staff/146340/Tomomi-Umetsu) [Bandori anime series on the main staff list this time](https://anilist.co/staff/118404/Midori-Gotou) so I would definitely trust this being yet another dark horse anime coming soon!
gnome-cop2026-01-12 07:45
The UFO visual meaning being alienated from society and connecting that to V-tubing is a pretty easy thing to come up that one can put a dark spin on. Anyway, I’m curious what this band’s particular thematic statement will be.
NeoAnkara2026-01-12 07:14
Hmm who else got abducted by aliens recently?
Dramatic_Biscotti_912026-01-12 07:56
TAE-CHAAAAAAAAN!
AccomplishedFilm76252026-01-12 08:22
Uik- oh i mean Hatsune.................. Arale🧐
Mr_Zaroc2026-01-12 18:01
And they are both Idols!
Hyper6692026-01-12 07:22
It looks so stylized, I wish more visuals had a unique look like this.
yukiaddiction2026-01-12 07:22
When the anime announcement happened, I kept wondering how they were going to present Yumemitta in the universe due to them being the Vtuber branch of Bandori and all.
I am now even more confused.
Ahenshihael2026-01-12 09:04
Seems like they are real people within bandori universe that are also doing vtuber stuff in-universe
One_Bend74232026-01-12 09:34
I don't think I'll even bother. This seems to be the anime-analog of that meme about having to explain 20 years worth of Internet history before you can understand what the hell you're even looking at.
oedipusrex3762026-01-12 07:26
What the hell. You know what, I'm in.
Reminds me of Zombieland Saga Movie Poster for some reason.
AppleDemolisher562026-01-12 07:55
That is an artistically sick poster
RCTD-2612026-01-12 08:15
somehow i can feel Show By Rock vibe from this poster
MikuMiiku2026-01-12 08:38
Did she steal the ears from Midori?
SweetMonia2026-01-12 08:50
This is giving me Teppen!!!!!!!! Vibes.
blade2762026-01-12 08:51
is that Arisa?
22dmgxy2026-01-12 10:00
MewType's Director &Writer staff basically from MyGO's episode Director and episode writer, This time Midori become the head writer. So Sad that Ayana Yuniko break off with BanGDream project.
Whendfield1232026-01-12 10:00
This looks like fun. I wonder if it will be cg like ave mujika and mygo?
Primary-Paint-17162026-01-12 14:44
I do hope so. They are really adept with that style.
WorldArcher12452026-01-12 10:06
Yuri?
nsleep2026-01-12 12:54
It's bandori. Forecasts say it's 99.9% of chance.
WorldArcher12452026-01-12 13:02
Skip
zenithfury2026-01-12 10:31
I see that Gold Ship is shooting energy blasts at the alien invaders with her guitar.
Magic19982026-01-12 12:05
Top right is just CubeWorld Rin-chan

Dandadan: The Band
Primary-Paint-17162026-01-12 14:43
Bang Dream really likes going through genre shifts. We gone from CGDCT to melodrama to horror to whatever the fuck this is.
MightyActionGaim2026-01-12 14:53
I like the implication that the conflict escalates with each band in this new era of Garupa.
MyGo - Local
AveMujica - National
Mugendai - GALACTIC
Majapahit792026-01-14 09:28
so
millsage - multiverse
Ikka dumb rock - ?????
TheDanubianCommunard2026-01-12 15:16
Vtuber idols facing an intergalactic threat, this is going to be some real craziness.
Ok_Tie_14282026-01-12 16:35
Is this a 3D anime asking cause a game I play(arknights)is about to do a Collab with this IP and I wanna watch
Grashuck2026-01-13 09:19
It's more 3d than "normal" anime, but less 3d than Girls Band Cry for example, if that makes sense. And Ave Mujica has its own anime, no reason to wait for some other entry in the franchise.
Ahenshihael2026-01-13 10:08
Sort of.
The Collab is with the previous season Ave Mujica which in itself is a sequel to Its MyGO.
This is the next show likely connected to the other two and the upcoming movie.
Ok_Tie_14282026-01-13 10:11
>is a sequel to Its MyGO.
Huh?
Ahenshihael2026-01-13 11:19
[Bang Dream! Ave Mujica](https://anilist.co/anime/169295/BanG-Dream-Ave-Mujica/) is a sequel show to [Bang Dream! IT's My Go!!!!!](https://anilist.co/anime/163571/BanG-Dream-Its-MyGO/)
The [upcoming movie](https://anilist.co/anime/197543/BanG-Dream-Ave-Mujica-prima-aurora/) is a sequel to Ave Mujica and the upcoming [Ave Mujica/Mygo](https://anilist.co/anime/189121/BanG-Dream-Its-MyGO--Ave-Mujica-Zokuhen/) show will be a sequel to the movie.
[Bang Dream! YumeMita](https://anilist.co/anime/198376/BanG-Dream-YumeMita/) show likely also ties into that somehow due to the possibility of some fan theories concerning \[Ave Mujica\]>!a little bit of identity fraud a certain character committed!<.
BosuW2026-01-12 17:55
Sure, fuck it, why not
Feeling-Fan44132026-01-12 18:11
Waiting....
_Deep_Submerge_2026-01-12 20:13
This is one of the animes I can't wait to see!
xDarKraDx2026-01-13 00:42
For some reason, I have the urge to play Metal Slug again after seeing those alien.
ArchusKanzaki2026-01-13 07:19
.....for awhile, I honestly thought this is a Blue Archive parody poster.
ThousandYearOldLoli2026-01-13 10:36
2nd alien invasion on ideols of the year?
Uchihaboy3162026-01-14 11:13
With how good MyGo and Ave were, I’m sure this will be at minimum a fun watch
nicosb28102026-01-16 03:58
finally! their music is very fun and their lyrics a bit dark, an interesting combination. MyGo and Ave Mujica were great, so I trust the quality that can bring the franchise
