Recommendations for getting my wife into anime?
My wife is interested in anime and she’s starting to get very into it. The problem is I haven’t watched a lot of newer anime unfortunately so I’m also trying to get more into newer stuff and just watch more all together. Her favorite so far has been Dandadan, she really enjoyed Berserk (my personal all time favorite manga, so the first season was a must. We also watched the Golden Age memorial), as well as Akira. She couldn’t get into Bleach after a fair attempt and as much as we enjoyed the first few episodes of Chainsaw Man the sexual stuff was a little too annoying for her (understandably part of the story with Denji but it is pretty heavy handed lol). She really wants to start One Piece but I don’t want to throw her into a 4 million episode anime before we burn through a couple quick ones to get a feel for her taste. We have Sakamoto Days and Gachiakuta on our list. We also have Deadman Wonderland and Another on there for something more serious. I was wondering about MHA and Demon Slayer since they are huge. Sorry for the long winded post but please help!
Thank you in advance!

Demonslayer is palatable for most audiences.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a good one.
Seven Deadly Sins if she likes fantasy
And you can't go wrong with Attack on Titan. Good mix of drama and action, plus the female characters aren't over-sexualized stereotypes.
**Edit: If she turns out to be a trash-isekai enthusiast like myself**\-
Reincarnated as a Slime
Mushoku Tensei
Re: Zero
KonoSuba
Overlord
fullmetal alchamest Brotherhood is an all timer
Its a serious story, easy to understand, has a unique animation style, has adult themes and violence but is less gory than attack on titan, relies a lot less on some of the anime tropes and "language of anime" that we are used to but is confusing to new people, with good voice acting and soundtrack. And its only 12 episodes so its not a multi season long commitment.
Movies: Spirited Away, Your name, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Suzume, A silent voice
Series: Demon Slayer, Spy x Family, Apothecary Diaries
My other recommendations: Sword Art Online, Frieren, one punch man, Darling in the Franxx, Ouran high school host club, cowboy bebop, trigun, Gurren Lagann, Code Geass
Be prepared to start buying trinkets! Haha. My wife’s cell phone is Totoro themed and she has little collection of figures around her office.
I always like to recommend one of two mech shows to see if people gravitate toward one or the other. 86 is a highly rated recommendation on this subreddit, featuring some very clear but poignant themes about race, war, white savior complex, lots of high stakes with characters that don't have plot armor and good tension as the clock ticks down. Or Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. No need to see any other Gundam show as its self contained. A large cast of likable kids thrown into war as they try to find a place for themselves and are often manipulated by the adults around them into incredibly tragic scenarios. Whichever characters or art style you like more, both of these are good mecha shows to test if you like the genre.
As another sci-fi show but a little slower paced, you could try Pluto. Mini series with longer episodic episodes. If you or she have ever heard of Astroboy before, and want to see a mature look at that world through the eyes of a detective trying to solve a mystery, this is the show. Some VERY good quality individual episodes, but others may be hit or miss depending on your investment.
