Personally I think it's getting kinda ridiculous. Of course this conversation has been trending lately because of the whole Mr. Beast thing, but it's so toxic. Calling good shows "slop" for the sake of an argument? What's the point of that?

Most people outside of anime like live action movies and shows that are incredibly popular and they don't get criticized for it. Like "woah, you like Breaking Bad? That's unc slop, we watch Halt & Catch Fire over here. You wouldn't get it". Said no one ever

I like that anime is growing as a community, when I was in high school, we had to keep it to ourselves. Now everyone is talking about it, the films are breaking box office records, and I think that's really cool

A few years ago, if I asked my parents to watch an anime with me, they'd be like "I don't want to watch cartoons". But now my dad is open minded enough to watch and like Pluto, same goes to my mom with Frieren, and they're in their 60s. It's beautiful to share the things you love with the people around you, and I won't get off this boat

I don't know, what do you guys think? Sorry if the English was a bit confusing, it's not my language
