In terms of visuals, this is the most beautiful OP of the series so far.

This anime is so cool in terms of animation and visual quality !

That last part, it's so fucking gorgeous.
ProfessionalRandom212026-01-12 18:46
animation aside, the song is horrible, with comically bad rapping
Silent-Witness18882026-01-12 19:09
Ya the song doesn't fit the anime at all, upsetting its for the final season too.

ALI doesn't really mesh well with Awich. Awich sounds weak af compare to Frontiers OP.

In contrast to everyone else in the thread, I actually like the visuals *AND* the song.
It's not going on my gym playlist, but I'd listen to it on the way there. It feels energizing and badass (in the Awich parts), but kinda haunting or longing ( for ALI's parts), and I think that really does suit the vibe of Golden Kamuy.
It's a story of a lot of strong personalities searching for something they can't reach by themselves

Agreed, the song definitely feels like a good representation of what Golden Kamuy is. Will definitely be watch it fully every episode.

I love the bit at the end of the song + the visuals, makes it very dramatic
United-Band30952026-01-13 03:11
Sounds so good

Some comments kinda surprised me. Gotta listen to that OP with headphones on and really listen to it without distraction. I love it.
