Is it just me or does anyone else feel like some newer anime art styles are starting to blend into each other?
And it's mostly anime like CSM, JJK and Hell's Paradise, that all happen to be produced by studio Mappa. (I'm not sure if it stems from specific animation teams or just project directors)
Now I'm not complaining because I do actually like their high quality adaptations, but I kinda feel like they start to feel less unique from each other because of how similar their art styles feel.
While as of now this doesn't seem like a big issue because there are only few examples of this, but if more anime happen to be subjected to the same in future, I feel like the unique feel of their adaptations from their original sources would take a hit and they'd start to give off similar vibes, atmosphere etc..
I don't mean to frame it as a problem per se, since there isn't exactly anything to be solved. However I feel it would be better if they found a way to stick to the original source's art style (especially for manga with decent/good art) while not sacrificing quality in pursuit of that.
(I'm not an expert on such so don't take it so seriously as it might just be ignorance on my end, it's just an observation I've made personally.)

Or look at 2000 compared to 2010, or 2010 compared to 2020.
I thought it was an interesting thought so I posted it but all I've gotten is people twisting my words and hurling insults. I guess that's my call to stop posting here.
This is nothing new. Probably the best animation studio, KyoAni, has its own artstyle that has been unchanged ever since K-On! and Nichijou. A lot of anime end up similar in artstyle, yet they are each as unique as can be.
Also is anyone insulting you? Unless you call people telling you the fact that the same people and studios working on multiple anime will lead to the same artstyle for those multiple anime.

All that said, yes, this subreddit isn't the most relatable. People don't want to share ideas, they just want to see what they like to see (but don't hold it against them).
Of course it's going to have a similar artstyle. Studios get their own artstyle, and sometimes directors too.
For directors, Fujii Shingo at Studio Bind has made Onimai and Ruri Rocks share a similar artstyle for example, despite the source materials have drastically different styles each. Yet both are very unique.
I'd recommend paying attention to which studio is making a certain anime before complaining they have similar artstyles.
